The best fine dining experience we had in Capri. An amazing evening with a view overlooking the Vesuvius and the sea. The restaurant is in a garden terrace, overlooking the beach of marina grande. The attention to detail in every dish, the passion of the staff, the welcoming attitude, and slow food make it a memorable evening. We were offered a shuttle back to the center despite not being guests which was lovely of them and also tea.
Setting: To access the restaurant terrace you cross the beautiful villa which hosts a hotel, the lounge area with sofas, and then you sit in relaxed chairs with cushions and an extra pillow for your lower back is the first hint that attention to detail, and ensuring you have the best experience possible, is what JKitchen is all about. The staff lights a modern lamp at every table that will romantically illuminate your romantic dinner from sunset into the evening.
Food: I had the best buffala in my life (and I'm Italian) in the caprese salad 🥗, we split the zucchini pasta and they were lovely about it: setting up each individual pasta on its side and decorating it with cheese and zucchini shavings. The warm breads were delicious and I loved that they left the oil and balsamic vinegar at the tables for me to devour the bread and make my own dip on a specified side llaye. The ricotta filled zucchini flowers were delicccccc The dessert was ok but of course very well presented.
