Ci siamo sentiti qui como nella terra del latte e del miele e abbiamo fatto un viaggio culinario attraverso il Ticino durante tre giorni: polenta, risotto, pasta, coniglio, arrosto, salsiccia ecc e sempre ottime verdure - per non parlare dei deliciosi dolci, antipasti, vini, formaggi... Complimenti al affascinante chef che prepara tutto con molto impegno e amore! Christoph grazie, ci vediamo :)

Splendida location, di montagna ottimo cibo di qualità e come non apprezzare la simpatia di Cristoph! Decisamente consigliata la prenotazione.

Non sono entrato. Ma piatti presentati sul menù esterno sono da leccarsi i baffi,o la barba di babbo natale buone feste a tutti e buon appetito.

Cenone di capodanno 2019. Ottimo menù, ottimo prezzo, ambiente familiare. Alla fine ballavomo tutti insieme. Un'esperienza che consiglio.

Christoph is a perfect host and chef! He truly cares about his guests. We have visited La Montanara many times and really love to come here. His set menu with antipasti, main course and desert is excellent and the wines offered splendid. The fireplace allows to warm up after a hike in the woods nearby. Make sure to call to inform him about your arrival or enquire about opening hours in advance.

Reservieren Sie vorher. Hier bekommt man ein ultimatives kulinarisches Erlebnis. Der Gastgeber Christoph macht von A-Z alles alleine mit viel Herzblut. Kochen, servieren, abräumen etc. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr familär und besonders schön ist der Kamin. Es wird grossen Wert auf die Qualität der Produkte gelegt (Bio, Herkunft etc.). Entsprechend sind die Menus tagesaktuell und variieren nach Verfügbarkeit der Produkte. Unser Essen war sehr gut. Wir hatten nebst einem sehr guten schweizer Merlot, welcher uns empfohlen wurde, Antipasti (Selbstbedienung), Ravioli, Reh mit frischen Pilzen, Kalbshaxe, Safranrisotto, Kastanienkuchen, Linzertorte, Walnuss Eis mit Nocino. Mein Highlight waren die Ravioli und die Linzertorte und und und.. Danke für den tollen Abend, gerne wieder.

Mehr Tessiner Ambiente geht nicht....super Aussicht auf die Tessinerwälder....mega feines Essen....sehr schönes gemütliches Grotto...Christoph führt das Grotto mit Herzblut....vielen Dank....wir kommen gerne wieder....

sehr nettes grotto mit genialer aussicht, schönem, komfortablen und gemütlichem gastraum und von christoph, dem sehr fröhlichen und lustigen gastgeber als one-man-show grandios bewirtet. einfache aber leckere, traditionelle küche mit nur einem menu pro tag, schöne weine und - bei meinem besuch - gut von einheimischen gästen besetzt. die fahrt ins tal ist abenteuerlich und schon der landschaft und engen strassen lohnenswert.
