Focaccia molto buona e croccante. Consiglio i menù da €10 e €13 (visti dal sito del castello), poiché oltre a cibo, bevanda e caffè, è compreso il biglietto per l'entrata.

Il contesto è davvero carino, nel verde e tra le erbe aromatiche. Personale molto gentile, ho preso un'insalata ed era abbondante e a un prezzo onesto. Inoltre c'è una convenzione che comprende anche l'ingresso al castello, che merita. Ci vorrebbero più posti per la ristorazione così vicino a un'attrazione turistica

Si trova praticamente alla biglietteria del castello. Propone a prezzi corretti, piatti veloci, ottimi per una pausa, nella visita al castello. I tavoli esterni sono in posizione ombreggiata.

We ate here because we were tired from the steep climb from Varenna. It looked like a basic snack bar, but the food turned out to be quite good. Prices are not high.

Unexpectedly nice place at the entrance of the castle. There are 3 menu options (€10, €12.50 and €15) which include the €5 access to the castle. We took the cheapest and the most expensive one which gave us more than decent foccacia and a big plate of meat and cheese (photo) + 2 drinks and 2 coffees. Good value for money, the view is pretty ok, though blocked by trees, service not the fastest, but not problematic.

The Gnocchi I had here was one of the very best! A refreshing lunch after a very tiring hike up to the castle. Would definitely recommend stopping here for lunch.
