Parte favorito, questo ristorante che si trova all’interno di uno dei più bei alberghi d’Italia e del mondo. La vista ineguagliabile dalla splendida terrazza vale già il viaggio. La stella Michelin si riconosce dal servizio, puntuale, preciso e professionale e dal menù, con piatti elaborati e originali. L’esecuzione non è però perfetta, con degli spaghetti alle zucchine da me mangiati anche a pranzo in un piccolo ristorante in zona in riva al mare, fatti molto meglio di questi e con una ricciola molto buona ma che non resterà nella memoria. Anche il babà non mi fa impazzire. La fetta di pizza come benvenuto ha un sapore un po’ turistico. Si beve molto bene. Cena soddisfacente ma non eccezionale.

Absolutely epic dining experience. The setting is gorgeous and the cuisine is stellar! I would definitely recommend the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairing. Perfect wine pairings from some of Italy’s finest vineyards. The service is world-class with a team of professionals waiting on your every need. The dishes are made with precision and passion. An evening to behold in Positano, Italy.

We dined here last summer during our stay at the Il San Pietro. The views from our table on the patio were absolutely incredible. Our group opted to go with the tasting menu and though I am not vegetarian I chose the vegetarian menu. Each dish was as beautiful as it was delicious. I would highly recommend dining here while in Positano, in fact, this is the kind of meal that you can build a whole vacation around!

What a stunning special treat! We arrived early by car from our hotel in Positano (I don’t recommend walking as it’s pretty far and the roads are too narrow) for a drink on the terrace. My husband had the vodka gimlet and I had their old fashion, both were refreshing but surprisingly the olives stole the show. We ate of them and we’re there for 30 minutes before our dinner reservation. Ha! After which, they transferred our drinks over to our table.
With a stunning view of the water, our outdoor table was met with amazing food, incredible service, and the best conversations and laughter with the head and assistant sommelier. We were one of the last tables to leave when they called us a car back to Positano. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As expected, the Michelin stared restaurant at the Il San Pietro hotel was special in every way. This is the pinnacle of fine dining. I recommend arriving early to enjoy an aperitif cocktail in the San Pietro lobby. The views and ambiance are excellent.

One of the best dining experiences of my life. The food was divine- everything we ordered was so delicious and beautifully plated/served. The service was impeccable- nicest service at any restaurant I’ve been to and I’ve been to quite a few Michelin starred restaurants. The ambiance was also the best I’ve ever seen- super beautiful interior and they had a violinist and pianist playing music the whole time we were at dinner. The wine selection is fantastic and the Sommelier was so helpful in picking out a great bottle for us. Can’t say enough nice things. We were unlucky to come to Positano during a Mediterranean cyclone in May which is very rare but this place makes up for the terrible weather! Truly a gem would go back again and again.

Refined and well-thought cuisine in a luxuriant setting giving a taste of old times splendour with great sea views. Innovative twist on local recipes/produce. Service a bit old fashioned but generally very pleasant and attentive.

Don’t listen to the haters the cuisine is amazing and the stuff is so professional taking care about you all evening.

Amazing service. We came an hour early for some reading on their patio, tried their drinks and enjoyed the sunset.
The dinner was above expectation, simple dishes in an advanced manner (I recommend their Cacio e Pepe and sauteed calamari).

An unforgettable night. From the moment I stepped out of the cab to an open umbrella the service never missed a beat. Ivan regaled us with stories of the local terroir, his grandmothers kitchen, and where the tasting menu’s many ingredients came from. The service found and matched our pace immediately.
I could talk about the food here, but no amount of words could do it justice. Sit back, order the tasting menu, and trust the Chef and his talented team. While I love wine, the best bar program I’ve seen in Italy.
1 Michelin star absolutely not enough in my opinion as Zass is world-class, rivals any restaurant in Italy, NYC, LA. Do not miss.
