Potatoes: il migliore a Roma

Dicono di noi: We went to this restaurant as it was close to our accommodation and it had gluten free options - yay! Um, no! We ordered GF lasagne and pizza - there was no GF lasagne (even though the menu said there was) and they ran out of GF pizza. Red flag but as we had a baby with us we thought we’d stay. We ordered GF spaghetti which was a small entree size as a main meal and there was no love in that dish, and chicken with potatoes. Chicken was really oily and tasteless, as were the potatoes. I couldn’t eat it but my daughter did as she was starving. We also ordered a salad which was just passable. My husband ordered the lasagne, which he was happy with - the one positive. I left hungry because I couldn’t eat the food. Even the Aperol Spritzer was a disappointment - it was too sweet and tasted like cordial. Maybe it was a bad night for them - it was certainly a bad night for us that cost 105 Euro!!!!!

Dicono di noi: I've often found swimming pool cafés and restaurants in southern Europe hidden gems and this is no exception. A calm, leafy spot with friendly staff and an excellent kitchen, Saltimbocca wih potatoes on the side, mireral water and a coffee set me back 9€. I'll definitely return.
