Esperienza assolutamente magnifica, che da cuoco e amante del buon cibo consiglio assolutamente a tutti. Un vero e proprio museo gastronomico, un tempio della cucina italiana e mondiale, dove i piatti di uno dei cuochi migliori di sempre rivivono grazie alla mano sapiente dell'executive chef Osvaldo Presazzi e della sua brigata di cucina. Senza ovviamente dimenticare quella di sala, eccellente nello svolgere un compito per niente semplice: rendere la degna descrizione, di fronte al cliente, di qualcosa di magico. Commentare i piatti del Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi, inutile. Giudicare delle opere d'arte, persino presuntuoso. È un'esperienza che qualsiasi aggettivo non descriverebbe in maniera degna. Si può soltanto vivere. Ed è questo che consiglio a chiunque legga questa recensione. Indipendentemente dalle proprie tasche, dalle disponibilità economiche. Grazie allo chef, alle brigate di sala e cucina e al signor Dandolo per avermi permesso di vivere una delle serate più indimenticabili della mia vita.

Con il bel tempo e l'allungarsi delle giornate si puo' avere una cena praticamente perfetta. Cibo gourmet buonissimo. Selezione di vini molto ampia. I prezzi sono elevati, ma ne vale la pena provarlo!

After traveling and having many fine dining experiences in the US and Europe, we both agreed this was the finest of them all. The food was magnificently prepared. The sauces were to perfection. The service - spectacular. The change of fine dinnerware and signed silver flatware was special. The history behind Marchesi is worth the read prior to dining. Expensive but for those who appreciate fine dining, it is worth it.

The service here was great, they were a bit slow at the start but it was very good once they started bringing the food. They start you off with a complementary egg that is both beautiful and delicious. We ordered the pasta with lobster and it was deliciously tomatoey, the claw on top was amazing. We also got the pasta with scallops and fish and it was absolutely delicious. Later we got the ossobucco with risotto. The risotto wasn’t great but the is ossobuco was amazing it would just melt in the mouth. We also had the steak with foie gras and it was great everything on the plate balanced well from all the ingredients working together and the sauce. Lastly we got the soufflé which was cooked to perfection and the dark chocolate sauce was perfect. Highly recommend going here for a lovely evening. There was a thunderstorm in the mountains in front and it was amazing to witness throughout dinner.

Although our lunch at this hotel restaurant was brief, the experience of the hotel itself left an impression. The breathtaking views from the establishment were absolutely spectacular, making it worth stopping it by here. Although, food was so so, but we were lucky to get anything at all since we ate at the hour where all restaurants do not serve any food dishes.

Classy hotel and likewise restaurant. It’s a great experience, which can be compared to being inside the Grand Budapest Hotel movie. Service excellent, food was delicious. Let’s not talk about the bill

Beautiful view. Wonderful service. Special shout to our very animatic funny waiter who prepared the crepe Suzette and entertained us the whole evening. The gold risotto is a must to try. Definitely worth a visit.

Great quality! And the service is outstanding. Great wines as well. Make sure to order your pasta al dente, mine was a little bit overcooked for Italian standards

A really stunning meal, in the most beautiful setting with wonderful service. Some of the dishes are really jaw-dropping. It's definitely not cheap but worth a visit for a special occasion.

Très beau restaurant au Grand Hotel Tremezzo. La terrasse est superbe avec vue panoramique sur le lac. Les cartes sont variées mais la qualité dans l’assiette pourrait être un petit peu plus élevée.
