Great little place to eat . grilled pastrami and soup was excellent ..Lou & Hys cheesecake is a real treat !! Watch for the Napoleon dessert coming soon.. You will want to take some home for later. Great staff,, wonderful owners
Best kept secret!. The food is excellent and the staff are super friendly. It's a shame they are located in an odd spot that is not well seen off Market Street and hard to find. I love the decor and the quiet low key atmosphere. This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. My husband and I are always treated well by the manager and his staff. Keep up the good work!
Very good food!. Great little place if you are tired of chain restaurants. Little mom and pop place with a huge variety of sandwiches offering lots of choices of breads and toppings. Also has soups and salads and desserts. Plenty of choices if you are vegetarian. Will definitely go back! Sits behind CVS on W. Market near Frank Blvd. in a group of little shops. Kind of hidden from the street.
Love it! Have been eating there since I was a little girl & they were located where caribou is now. Tomato soup is a must. Great sammies! We love it there. Bulb a plus!
Quiche please!. I just came back from the Sandwich Board. Today I had the Quiche du Jour (Mushroom & Onion), the White Raspberry Tea, tossed side salad, and the Peach Praline Pie. As usual, our server was pleasant and helpful. The quiche was full of mushrooms and herbs and very cheesy. The side salad could've used a bit less iceberg but it had a decent mixture of spinach, sprouts, and green peppers in there. The peach praline pie...nice thick crust, lightly sweet peach filling (perfect) and the pralines on top added a nice crunch and texture. My firend I went with had never been there and really enjoyed her experience. I know I always do.
WONDERFUL RESTAURANT. I have been going to the Sandwich Board for years, and it always has been a terrific luncheon place.
Its cozy atmosphere and friendly owner and servers enhance its great, healthy food.

I had the montana wrap. Super delicious! Very tender. Almost switched the cheddar for Swiss, glad I didn't. The cheddar goes perfectly with the roast beef. My wife ad the sunburst fruit salad with chicken salad on it. Fruit was awesome bc it was in season. It's the reason she goes there. We live by Detroit and we make sure to eat here whenever we are in town. The outdoor seating is great. They have local art displayed. Plus the coffee was tasty. Gotta eat here!!!
Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. The atmosphere is like walking into grandma's house for tea.
