Literally the best pizza in Albany, GA. I'm a NYer and that's my opinion on the matter. When it comes to pizza, you have very few choices in Albany, but at least one of them knows what pizza should look like and taste like. Ivan owns the joint and he grew up in jersey (I won't hold it against him). He was close enough to the real thing. He knows what he's doing. The staff, well they come and go, but he tries to keep them on their game. Bottom line: If you know what real pizza is, then this is where you get it in Albany, GA.
The stuffed pizza is well made and very filling. I didn't really care for the marinara sauce due to the bland flavor. The Bianca pizza was mostly crust and the cheesecake slices are quite small. The garlic cheese bread is very good and should be tried. The salad was large with plenty of cold cuts on it. The staff is courteous, polite, and hard-working. I'll definitely be returning.
It was surprisingly good. At first I was concerned because of the out of the way location and the age of the building, but all my concerns disappeared after I received my meal. I had one slice of the meat lovers pizza, and also the cheese burger. Both were excellent and i would easily say this is one of the best hole-in-the-wall restraints in Albany! Great job guys!
