My boyfriend and I ate here for our anniversary weekend and it was amazing!!!! So much food for a great price and DELICIOUS!!!! <3
This place is fantastic! I had the shredded beef taco plate and an order of sopapillas. Everything was seasoned perfectly. None of the elements on my dish were dry or mushy. The decor was stimulating and unique. The atmosphere was comfortable. The beef soup was absolutely tasty. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The sopapillas were perfect! It's the kind of place you will end up craving later on. No, I am not paid for this review. I genuinely like this place! I just wanted to support a small local business and was pleasantly surprised.
I plan to tell my friends and bring my out-of-town guests here. ❤️💯❤️
Delicious barbacoa tacos and soup but didn't like the green enchiladas.
This restaurant is more authentic Mexican than most places here in Albuquerque, the staff is friendly and helpful and the service is fairly fast. I will say I went at night and there only 2 other people at the at the time, it is a bit pricey so I would recommend going when they have the breakfast/lunch specials available. They did give a little bowl of caldo de res before our meal which was unexpected and very yummy! Fun little appetizer along with the chips and salsa. Overall 4 out of 5 stars

This is the spot for the best Mexican style breakfast. Absolutely delicious and there are many options. The lunch/dinner dishes are great too and they come with a small caldo de res which is amazing.
This place is really good the service was great! And the service of bringing the food was not bad at all because the place was really full. I was thinking we were not going to get our food fast well I was wrong we did get our food fast. She was really nice. They have allot of food to offer we did breakfast which was really good the menudo the bread, pozole verde, barbacoa tacos, the green chilaquiles, and the asado served with rice and beans were good too. All my family enjoyed the food.
What a random, serendipitous find! Driving down San Mateo looking for Mexican food “near me”. Located in the middle of a shopping center we would have never seen it. It was obviously a favorite of the locals and we found out why after biting into our food. Chips, salsa, and guacamole were excellent. My enchilada dinner was excellent. The red sauce was flavorful and spicy. My wife chose a stuffed sopapilla. The decor was fascinating and unique. Worth searching out if you love really good Mexican food.
After talking this place up we ended up eating here just to be disappointed. We were sat right away and took our order, it took over 30 minutes and after it came out one order was completely wrong and the other was ice cold from sitting there so long. The second time the food came out they still got the plate wrong, their solution for the cold plate was to just their it in the oven and it still was cold. We just ate it out of fear of it taking forever to actually get what was ordered or even hot. I don't know if a second chance will be in the future.
