Called in a pizza order, vaguely described what I wanted, basically left it up to them. The young gentleman asked a few key questions and said he knew the perfect pie. Did not disappoint 🙌, I highly recommend the Green Chili Chicken Ranch, add onion and hold them diced tomatoes... Absolutely delicious, tongue was slapping my mouth around. 10 outta 10, would recommend 👌 👍
This is more than a restaurant to me and my family, it is like a home away from home. We go there, and the staff is so kind as if you have known them all your life, the atmosphere make you feel like you are on a trip to Italy, with the nice classic walls and signs, not to mention this was a family business. Once I was sent in to pick up my order, and my lord were the staff so welcoming. They gave me a special spot by the manager and we waited for pizza. But the best thing, The cuisine. The fresh pizza feels like you are eating in the heart of Italy, the garlic bread reminds you of simpler times. Everything is perfect about the joint.
Helpful tip for Mario's: go right when it opens, if you don't like a lot of people being there. It gives you an hour alone.
Family atmosphere, food is fantastic, large variety, not only pizza, but great tasting pizza, costumer service is one of the best I have come across. I would recommend it to everyone!!!

Mario’s, should in all fairness, be compared to Olive Garden. Each serve the same quality Italian-American fast foody cuisine. The major difference is, you can get out the door at Mario’s a bit cheaper. That being said, Mario’s doesn’t offer the all you can eat bread sticks and salad you will get from Olive Garden. My side salad was a very basic iceberg lettuce salad with a couple of cucumber slices and cherry tomatoes thrown on for color.
Also, expect to pay a premium price for less than premium wine.
The server was friendly and attentive. The food was delivered quickly with a fresh cooked appearance. I ordered the Tour of Italy which included cheese ravioli, eggplant parmigiana and spinach lasagna. The ravioli is normally served with meet sauce but in this case everything was served smother in marinara sauce. The sauce was not as spicy as I prefer and a bit too sweet for my taste.
Overall, a satisfying experience I may repeat.
I would recommend Mario’s for a family outing. The menu and atmosphere is sure to please all ages. If you are looking for upscale Italian dining, better to look elsewhere.
Perfect pizza every time. The pasta dishes are also excellent (Southwest Chicken is a personal favorite). Their house made gelato is not to be missed. Servers are always fast and friendly. We have been eating at their various locations since the mid 1990's and have never had a bad meal.
First time and definitely not the last. Really great selection of foods. We tried the Margherita 18” pizza, a meatball parmigiana sub and cannoli. Everything was great and we are looking forward to trying some of the other pizzas, lasagna, sandwiches and more during future visits. This is our new favorite place in ABQ.
Food and service are great 👍🏻, I ate here for the first time, I had nachos , omg the portions could feed at least two people. I really enjoyed my meal.
Mario's has become outr fave place to eat at! Especially going in to eat, the atmosphere is nice so is the customer service. Even on days when they're busy they know how to handle it like bosses! Very friendly staff and amazing food. Mario's has the best pizza!
This place is wonderful! In addition to the great food, the employees are always very courteous and respectful which, in itself, is saying a whole lot about this restaurant!
Loved the food. The pizza was fresh and delicious. Very decent prices. Free WiFi and the service was excellent. Lots of other food choices besides pizza . Definitely stop in here.
