Excellent service and a very nice menu with a lot to choose from. While, it's not comparable to say, Trombinos, it's delicious and way better than Olive Garden. Has a nice mom and pop feel to it.
The only pizza in NM. I am from NYC and know my pizza's. Luigi's has the best no let me change that the only real pizza in all of NM. The other menu items are equally delicious and extremely well made. Luigi's is the only Italian restaurant I will eat in in the state of NM. Try it, you won't be disappointed, I promise you.
LUIGI'S ITALIAN IS THE REAL THING. Luigi's Italian Ristorante on North 4th Street & Solar is "The Real Thing". I have dined there for over 10 years, and what really registers with me is the CONSISTENCY at this place.
The recipes are authentic & NOT formula, the sauces are home made, delicious and loaded with flavor. The Pasta is actually HAND-MADE by Mama herself. The menu features a diversity of choices, everything from Shrimp Fra Diavolo & Scampi, to their Veal Piccata, Marsala or Parmigiana. The Eggplant & Chicken Parmigiana & Lasagna are to die for. The Fettuccine Alfredo is delicious & made from hand-made noodles, & the bread is homemade as well.
You can order from the menu or you can choose from their lunch or dinner buffet which on Friday nights features an "all you can eat Seafood buffet".
Each dish is made to order and NOT cooked or frozen in advance. This Mom & Son eatery really hits the mark for me and is worth your time. A must visit.

Liked it, didn't love it. The kids ate like little pigs for $5. Good pizza and salad bar, so-so pasta
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and overall quality was great. My wife got the chicken and green chili lasagna which was very New Mexican and very good. I ordered the seafood buffet and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and all the options available. The pizza was also very delicious. No doubt this place is worth a visit.
Luigi's -- Favorite Family Place for 15 years. Luigi's is our family destination for great food and a warm comfortable relaxed atmosphere for at least 15 years. Every birthday or anniversary photo has the hand-drawn Napoli or Colosseum mural in the background. We love the pizza, I think it is the best in NM. The braciole! - veal scallopine picante! - eggplant parm and lasagne - all the best ever, considering this is Albq., not the East Coast. And what an invention - the carne adovado pizza! Thanks to Luigi and his family - we have never had a bad meal.
Great pizza. The pizza is great but the other stuff on the menu tastes like it comes from a frozen dinner. Pizza and salad buffet is great, so stick to that.
Passed by Luigis a hundred times but stopped in for the first time today. It was fantastic! Both my wife and I were very happy with our entire meal. Valerie our server was courteous and attentive. We will definitely be back.
My bf and I have been here twice in one month now. I'm sad to say, yes it was my first times but I loved the eggplant parmesan, the fried zucchini & the pizza! The complimentary bread with oil is 🤌 The service was good and the dining area was clean & comfortable.
We will definitely be back, I want to try other dishes for sure.
My girlfriend cooked a delicious eggplant parm tonight, it was so delicious 😋, I personally have never eaten at Luigis. But I will say that the eggplant parm that my gf cooked us at home (I helped slice garlic btw) was absolutely delicious and tasted VERY good...Needless to say I had a great night and it wonderful experience. Thank you 🤌
Excellent as always! We typically get our favorites, Chicken Alfredo & Chicken Marsala, but decided to order something different today and so glad we did! My daughter wanted a small, pepperoni pizza and it came loaded with pepperoni, a perfect, thin crispy crust with just the right amount of char & Luigi's signature sauce. I ordered the Green Chile Chicken Lasagna and was blown away! The lasagna was layered with tender chicken, ricotta, mozzarella, herbs & just the right amount of Hatch Green Chile to give it a special kick. The alfredo/red sauce that was lavishly spread all over along with another layer of mozzarella on top, came bubbling & piping hot from the oven. This dish was so delicious and the creamy sauce is just divine! Luigi and Momma Tina never fail to make authentic, homemade Italian dishes. Our waitress was sweet, pleasant & attentive and the Frank Sinatra music is always a personal favorite. I couldn't resist topping off another wonderful meal by taking home a big slice of Momma Tina's homemade Pistachio Cheesecake, that I'm getting ready to indulge in right now!
We had celebrated my Sister's 50th birthday at Luigi's with family &friends, everything went very well, Luigi&his staff made us feel right at home. Food was delicious &staff was friendly&helpful. This restaurant is to us definitely worthy of a "Best Italian food &Service in town" award. Much Thanks again to Luigi&his staff for making our celebration one to remember.
It reminded me of the Italian joints in New Jersey, and that's a good thing! Pasta was pretty good, and I look forward to trying the clam pizza. Places like this are commonplace in the northeast, but really rare for ABQ.
I'm guessing the front of house service is fairly new and inexperienced. It wasn't bad service, they just don't deliver the level of service one expects from a sit-down restaurant.

Food was freshly made and it was AMAZING! All the food was brought in a timely manner, the place was super clean and staff was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long to be seated as it was a bit empty. 100% will recommend and will come back when in town.
We went for a late lunch on Wednesday afternoon around 1:30pm. Just a few other folks dining at this time. It was our first visit and we definitely will be coming again. We were greeted by Sabrina our server. She's been at Luigis for 10plus years! We see why as she is truly the greatest. She took time with us and made sure we were happy diners!
The food was authentic. All food is made daily by Luigi and his mom every day. I had Penne and meatballs my husband had baked Canneloni Not lunch portions! Huge portions with salad and unlimited fresh made bread too. We were stuffed. Got pumpkin cheesecake to go.
We had a nice conversation after dinner with Sabrina. I asked her to compliment the chefs Luigi and his mom. Best Italian food in Albuquerque and RioRancho! The house presented us with a lovely bottle of wine in the way out.
Sorry m'Tucci and Joes you don't compare to Luigis!!!
Luigi’s is one of our favorite places! We’ve been enjoying Luigi’s for a few years now and have to say the authentic Italian dishes are delicious! Our favs besides the pizza are the gnocchi, carbonara, vegetarian lasagna and tiramisu. Wonderful local establishment with true Italian cooking! Luigi is magnifico!
Nice place for good Italian food, would be nice if they brought the buffet back.
