Ordered the burger and footlong dog and it was exalent and the service was amazing. Defiantly coming back. I would recommend this place to friends and family.
Old School. Reminiscent of how Lotta burger used to taste before they Sold Out....but with Avocado's milkshakes, and 1/2 pound Nathan ' s hotdogs.
This place is Awesome. So when ordering we got a warm welcome from the staff. their place is clean and calm. the food is excellent added this to one of my favs
Pretty good. I've eaten here about 10 times....and I always order the same thing - Papa cheese basket. It's good, but I keep changing my mind on HOW good. My main complaint is that the bun is too big - not proportionate to the meat. Yet if you pile it with extras, the balance gets better. I love that they grill their buns - really important to me for good taste - and the quality of the bun isn't bad. Grandkids had the chicken fingers - homemade - outstanding!
We'll Be Back. We had the Papabasket and Papacheesebasket. Hamburgers were excellent, green chili sample was excellent (I ate all mine), fries were good/very good (I should have been dieting). Service was excellent (Silva was taking orders). Very good atmosphere and appreciated the size of the place. We plan on returning to try some other menu items...
Stands well on its own. Alas, don't know why haven't taken people's good word and despite the newz today that Lotaburger placed 4th on National Geographics list of Top 10 Best Burgers in the country, I went for Papa's GCCB with the works...including mayo, albeit hesitant re chile not being chopped...LOL. IMHO, it is no way similar to a Lotaburger!!! I actually like its thinness as the one I had got a tiny bit charred around the edges which added to its flavorfulness for-a-difference, including the center not being overdone. The chile was fine and my piece had a tad of kick. Had the O-rings...a nice, crisp, non greasy batter. A solid burger experience.
Papaburgers is great, they cook onions into their patties which gives the meat a lot of flavor. If you are into spicy, they have a green chili garlic sauce to put on top and is leagues better than the whole chili. Yes their fries need some salt and pepper but they are delicious once added. Their chili dogs are intensely flavor-full nathans hot dogs with good chili on top, and not to mention huge (largest being a half lb foot long). This place is fairly new and is way better than Blake's.
Great tasting burger, the chili is the best condiment at this little mom and pop restaurant O and don't forget the chili dog
Simply Awesome Burgers. I searched many places to find better burgers in this town and found several that beat out the miserable McD, BK greasy bun stomach aches. This is one place that is making a burger that will not soak the bun because it isn't a miserable pile of grease. It is great beef, cooked just right every time. It isn't the biggest, but you can certainly pile 2 meats on one bun to make it the right size when you are extra hungry. The toppings are always fresh and great. I drive all the way from the NE heights at least once a week to pick up a combo or just a burger and it is just great and still hot and ready and fresh to eat by the time I get home! Super eats and great on my tummy!
Not Original. Well evidentally Ive been on a burger mission lately. I took a long drive to Papaburgers to give it a whirl. What i found was, its ok. Nothing that I would bring my family to to say"you gotta try this place, they have the most amazing burgers". I'll go back when im in the area but I wont search it out. I also had the hot dog which was much better than Senor Dogs. Senor Dogs sucks. I also believe in originality. Ironically, about 2 yrs ago i was watching the food network & the showcased a little place in oklahoma that did their burgers the exact same way Papaburgers does it. A little irony?? is Copycatting a form of flattery or is it a way for people to say"HEY!! I CAN OPEN A RESTAURANT!! Give Papaburger burger a whirl. They arent bad, just not memorable. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RESTAURANTS!!!
