If you really want to taste the original Mexican cuisine give a try to TacoTote, you'll have a few questions about the menu,but, they always seem to be happy to answer every one of them.
Restaurant's name's rough translation would be "Huge taco" and that's exactly what you get...
The truth is whoever says that this place "sucks" only eat food from processed cans and artifical flavors. That person has absolutely no idea of what "authentic Mexican" should taste like. Being from El Paso, a border city, Albuquerque does not really have "authentic Mexican" even some claim to be when it's probably Tex-Mex or NM-Mex. El Taco Tote is the only authentic Mexican from which the Heras Brothers are from the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. Trust me on this-most will agree with me.

Very authentic Mexican. Not Texmex. Might not be appreciated by those with western palates. I liked it.
The food is amazing, however all the tables were dirty and the soda machine was out of most options, very loud place with the music and people
