We ordered the original cheese balls, my favorite thing on the menu.
I ordered a roast beef n cheese mini melt with fries. It was shredded pot roast not roast beef. Tasted good but it was dry and tough.
The French fries were a disgrace. They were just barely cooked, full of grease and not a but crispy. Not even a little.
I've never had bad food here before but tonight was a bust.

Love the fish dinner. Hand-breaded haddock, always good. Also make a decent yellow pizza, Altoona style. Nice mix of people every time I go.

I used to be afraid of this place!. It's a good bar, with pub food. Some of the people at the bar looked scary, and with all the cameras they have watching the entire property, seems like they've seen some rough problems in the past. You won't get much conversation from bartender/servers unless you're a regular, but if that's OK, (and you like Pittsburgh football stuff), they have good cold beer & good pub food at a reasonable price. The carpet isn't new, there are stains on the walls, and characters at the bar, but it's not bad for trivia nights or to drown your sorrows, just don't ask for a complicated mixed drink.
