Quite simply, I love this place.. I eat here as often as possible, usually once a week or so.
I prefer it over any Chinese take-out I've ever had, in any city. Yes, they do have a dining room and a weekday lunch buffet; but, I can't remember the last time I've seen anyone actually in there.
The staff is always super friendly and the food comes out crazy fast. It's never too greasy or under/overcooked.
Prices are on par with every other Chinese take-out place in the area. Nothing special there. Also the menu is nearly identical to most others that I've seen.
The appearance isn't anything grand, especially with all the construction going on around it. Currently, (with the construction in mind) you'd probably have trouble finding it if you'd never been there before. The inside shows its age, but I've never thought it looked dirty. You can see right over the counter into the entire kitchen and everything always looks neat and clean.
My advice is to definitely check this place out if you're in the mood for Chinese take-out. Sure, it's not AUTHENTIC Chinese cuisine...but it's definitely one of the best this area has to offer. #13 Special Combination Plate, Roast Pork Lo Mein is where it's at!
I have been eating here for years and have enjoyed every meal. Eastern Express has come to be one of my favorite small local chinese take-out places; the people who work there are always extremely kind and accommodating. Never had a wrong order, but I know they would go above and beyond to fix the order and make ammends. Will continue to get my take-out here!
Excellent friendly service,delicious food best Chinese food 1st time sweet & sour chicken & rice sweet & sour sauce was the best I ever had & fried pork & rice & egg rolls meal were the best I ever had very happy customer 😋😊 Great prices !!! Tyvm
