My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time experience. The food was to die for. The atmosphere was phenomenal. Definitely couldn’t tell it’d been established for over 5 years being it looked spanking brand new from outside in. Zack. W & Megan. O were excellent servers & our drinks at the bar were outstanding! We were greeted friendly and the manager also made sure we were enjoying ourselves and gave us some education on a hidden gem about our wine choice Blanc De Bleu! Blueberries was the reason wine was blue! Love learning something new everyday! We look forward to visiting again whenever our paths lead us to this area!
I had the Chanel #5, and Shelly had the Heart of Italy. On top of the appetizer, neither of us could even think of finishing them. The food was utterly amazing, the presentation was spectacular, and the restaurant was clean, modern, and inviting.
Everything about our visit was perfect.The atmosphere was upscale and comfortable. The food was perfection. I ordered the Filet Oscar medium rare and it was cooked absolutely perfect, so tender and full of flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The gin mulberry mules are so good I had two. Weston was our waiter and he did an amazing job. My only complaint is that we do not live closer to this restaurant because it would become our must go-to restaurant! Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious meal.
Our server Weston was phenomenal! The cuisine is delicious and we were served a slice of turtle cheesecake that was to die for. He recommended several dishes and they were all winners.

First time dining at Johnnys with a couple co workers, and was thoroughly impressed! Our service was great, and the food was impeccable. Will absolutely be back with my fiancé for date night!
First time at Johnny's Italian steakhouse in Altoona IA,it was a very nice place to dine at.my wife and I went to an early dinner there,it was not bizzy at the time on Saturday around 4pm.we had ordered the stuffed sausage mushrooms and the sausage bread appetizers and ordered the lasagna plate and the prime rib plate,everything was very nicely cooked and tasted very good.the waitress Haliegh that served us did a very good job,she check on us took time to help us have a good experience dinning in.we will take and back again soon even thought it is a little pricey but well worth the time and money for a good time. Thank you Johnny's for making our time there a good time.
Awesome service from our waiter, Avery! He was so personable and had so many great suggestions! The food was AMAZING as well. It was all cooked perfectly and the Turtle Cheesecake was to die for!!! We love this place, and will definitely be back again soon! Thank you for the fantastic eating experience! ❤️
