Super fast and friendly service. A sports bar type ambiance. Some great burgers. Very fair prices and generous portions. What's not to love? We tried their brisket burger and it was perfect. The fries were so good that we may just go back for the fries alone.
We stopped in yesterday with a party of 8 after our seminar. The service was amazing, the food was great, and above what we had expected. Our friends accompanying us said it was the best burger joint in the area, and that was the truth! We will totally stop in the next time we are in town!
The food here is hands down some of the best I've ever had! Visiting Des Moines from out of town and picked this restaurant at random. The waiter was super friendly and attentive, despite how busy they were. We got our food in a timely manner, our drinks were always refilled without having to ask, and they even gave my daughter a fun birthday Sundae for her big day! Oh, and the atmosphere is AWESOME. 12/10 would recommend.
Had the Pork Sandwich grilled. It was perfect. Also as seen in pictures I had the Mac and Cheese, I feel as though the noodles were a little undercooked may 5 minutes more...but they were ok. Thats why the 4 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Staff was great as well. Get here early if you would like a water view !

I ordered the Italian beef sandwich and did not notice that it had hot peppers on it, completely my fault. Got the meal, picked the peppers off took a bite and my mouth was on 🔥. Found our server and she knew what was going on, got me a bowl of ice cream to cool the fire. Manager came and gladly got me a different sandwich and did not charge me for the Italian. We were so impressed with how we were treated! I also had the hamburger soup which was outstanding. We had cheese curds which were out of this world tasty. We will definitely be back!
It was packed. It always looks packed. There was a wait but we were offered to sit at the bar and not wait. The bartender was nice and curtious. My bloody Mary was pretty good. My daughter had a specialty shake. I had the Mac attack burger. It was awesome. The fries were tasty too. My only quarm was that my daughters shake seemed pretty small for the cost. I had no complaints though. The bartender thought the food was slow so the shake was comped. I honestly thought the food was timely. Considering it was packed the chefs did a great job. All in all I would highly recommend it. The interior was also nice.
This place is awesome! Great atmosphere & delicious food, our group tried the
Italian Beef sandwich 💯(SO much flavor),
the Farmhouse burger 💯(even a picky teenager loved it, that bacon jam 👍),
the Chicken tenders 💯(they're huge), and
the Impossible burger 💯!
It was all great, the coleslaw, fries and tots we're also perfect. But the staff really made it A++, we had Gracie and she was so kind and patient with us and when she found out it was my birthday she made sure to get me a birthday dessert 🙌 The only bummer is that the Shed is 2 hours from us lol we will definitely come back the next time we're in the area.
Great experience! Burger, shake, and appetizer were all great! I cannot remember which burger I ordered but everyone at my table ordered different ones and we all enjoyed ours. I ordered the salted Carmel shake, unfortunately this was just okay. It wasn't what I expected. And the cheese curd appetizer was great! Service could have been a little better but was over all good.
