My husband, kids and I visited for the first time this early evening. We sat in a booth where our 2.5 yr old daughter proceeded to try and climb into the top corner. She started to throw a fit. When our waiter, Gunner, came to greet us for the first time, he approached with a small bowl of animal crackers and mentioned he had a kid and totally understands. That small act right there set an amazing tone to our evening. To have wait staff get parents that come in with small kids is awesome because it can be a very stressful (and sometimes embarrassing) time. Gunnar was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Having him for our waiter made things so calm, smooth and we never once felt that our requests were a burden on him. We ordered an appetizer, soups and sushi and everything came out so quickly! We were trying to decided for our daughter and Gunnar offered a small bowl of chicken fried rice at no charge to make sure she liked it. I mean, how awesome is that?! I can't believe how long it took us to try this place! My husband and I LOVE Asian food! We will definitely be coming back, as I think this is going to be our new favorite place! And to the owner: Please give Gunner a raise, a bonus, paid time off, SOMETHING to reward this amazing waiter you have on your staff! Not only is your food amazing, but it's because of how well he treated us that will make us come back again and again.
