Dick & Joan's 220 Club Appleton

If you’re looking for a traditional old fashioned supper club these folks do it right! My son who frequents Appleton for work gave us the recommendation. Starting with our beverage, the drinks were perfect. I had a vodka Collins and sometimes the combination of sweet and sour is not right. This was perfect. I order pickled mushrooms with my cocktail and if the weren’t Lehman’s brand they were very close! Delish, the best! Plentiful salad bar with hot bacon dressing as a dressing option, cheese spreads and crackers, two options for soup and lots of veggies. Warm homemade bread. Steaks were perfectly prepared and had a nice char broiled flavor. Crab legs were served split, big plus in my book as I hate working for my food. They were served piping hot. I had mentioned that the “birthday boy” could order first and at the end of our meal he was presented with a small approx 4x6 cake, complete with candle, in a tin container that we could take with. They seemed to be very busy but the waitress did a good job of checking back often and the bus person came by frequently to clear empty dishes. That in itself is traditional of old fashioned supper clubs. Next time I will probably go earlier to have a cocktail at the huge “U” shaped bar. Clean, inviting and fun! Highly recommend Dick and Joan’s 220 Club if you are ever in the Appleton area. It is a great experience!

Very good food. Hot bacon dressing on the salad bar. A plus Fish and tenderloin was very good. The place was packed. Not sure if they take reservations but I doubt it
