Owner is really nice gentleman. Fresh, quality food. This is my 4th or 5th time eating here. Never been disappointed. Had a fried chicken breast today with waffles both made on the spot. They even put some vanilla ice cream on the waffles. Never had that before but I'll have it again. Come try it and decide for yourself.

Brought Back Memories. My good friend treated me to dinner and it brought back good memories of home cooked meals, church and family gatherings. Nice little spot next to the bus stop on Colfax and Billings. Well worth a stop through. Casual dining, warm, hospitable and I had to laugh. They had sweet tea and Koolaid in dispensers next to each other. Great tasting and reasonably priced in my opinion.

This place has the best catfish in the metro. Their collardgreens are perfect just as the menu say. It's hard to get in to, you have to be heading west on Colfax and its just before I225. This place is not the ritz, and a little plain in decor. If you can over look its looks and that the food is served in to go boxes right now, the place is a dianomd in the ruff. It is the best soul food in the metro and its all made with a love for the food and cooking. Rex
