The food hit the spot. BBQ was delicious! The meat fell right of the bone with ribs. The brisket and sausage were tasty also. Drink were bomb dot com. The live music was super chill. Customer service was 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯. I'm definitely going back soon for brunch again. Oh, and dog friendly means everything! 💯💯
Awesome place to meet up with friends, Really enjoyed listening to The Larry Harris band they provided great music and delivered the perfect vibe, enjoy the afternoon sitting under beautiful Oak trees , enjoying an iced cold beverage. Eat some BBQ with unique and delicious flavor combinations, we had Brisket, sausage, TexMex tacos and Honey Bbq chicken, Kid friendly and dog friendly too. This is the kind of place that makes Austin a great place to live!
I try out as many different BBQ places as possible. EVERYTHING on the sampler plate here is outstanding!! These people know what they are doing. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
This is my new favorite BBQ spot. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. My wife got the Oakwood, loved it. I got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage and burnt end beans and cream corn. The brisket was fall apart and melt in your mouth good. Seasoning was great too. The sausage was delicious. The cream corn was a bit thicker than I'm used to, but it was so good. The beans were also really good. We also got a banana pudding for dessert, and it was, just, delicious. It was a bit thinner than a normal pudding, but we actually really liked that.
The service was also really great. Friendly gentleman at the register, very patient with us even though it was our first time there.
The outdoor seating area was lovely. Very nice atmosphere. Nice and shady. We came for a late lunch, so there really wasn't anyone else out there with us. It was very relaxing.
It was almost empty when we came in on a Friday night, which isn't a great sign, but we decided to order the sampler platter to share and it was great. It was plenty of food for a decent price, and everything tasted good. The green beans were a little too spiced (too salty, too peppery?) but were okay. The Mac and cheese was classic. The meat was somewhat dry, but the bbq sauce was good. The ribs were excellent. The bar was closed and the outside lights were off. I'm not really sure why or why it was so empty, but we had a good time.
Amazing barbecue, and a very cool vibe! Audrey was our server, and she was amazing. We had a great evening dining outside. Highly recommend the brisket, pulled pork, and spicy sauce!
Some of the best bbq I have EVER put in my face hole. And their Mac and cheese is by far some of the best I have ever seen come from any restaurant. You can tell by the taste that it is scratch made and has been seasoned. Most places won't even add flavor to their Mac and cheese. I'll definitely be an on repeat customer.
YALL. This place is a little dime on Breaker. Food was great, I got the honey Buffalo chicken sandwich which was giving Honey butter chicken vibes (HBCB iykyk). My husband got the brisket melt and said it was “awesome”. They have a HUGE back patio/yard with connect four, corn hole, darts AND an outdoor stage venue which is super reminiscent of Shady Grove vibes (RIP🥲). && they have live music!! This place is THE upcoming homie hangout!
Amazing food, service and most importantly that people that work there are amazing! I cater for 100 people and they did an excellent job! Everyone loved the brisket, sausage, coleslaw and potato salad! Lots of people told that was the best coleslaw they had! I’ll be back!
