ONLY thing I buy here are the chicken strips. They are AMAZING. Make sure or get the lotta zing powder and just sprinkle it over your entire meal. Gives it a great flavor.
Service is good but lines can be long to order at the drive thru.
I have never dined in so not sure what that would be like.
Dusty, the manager and the team at Golden Chick Oak Hill are the most helpful and customer service oriented fast food store in the area.

The restrooms are always spotless and the drive-thru order is super fast. They recently added fried shrimp to the menu with fish which is extra yummy! The kids absolutely love it and they have 20 fried shrimp for just $15. The catfish is not too bad either. Definitely pick up a side of coleslaw to go with it 😁
In case you hadn't noticed, Golden Chick is a franchise (independently owned) and a lot of 'em ain't great. This one is! Always fresh, delicious and the staff is courteous and professional.
Best chicken wings in town. Get a side or 2 or 3 of Buffaloe sauce to dip them in, beast Buffalo wings in town. Awesome fried chicken. Great job! Highly recommend.
I order the shrimp with okra and side fries large Dr pepper. Okra and shrimp were the bomb! Fries were gross old and cold which was a disappointment because we love their fries. Let me tell you about the roll!!! Oh my bread goodness! Drive thru was quick and service was not bad but not awesome either. It was ( probably tired young man) just end of shifts. But all and all good meal with small minor hiccup. Picture of leftovers. Lol
My first time dining at a golden chick. Asked the cashier what he suggested. He said go for the tenders. No regrets here. Oh, and the rolls were awesome
A bit too pricey for what it is, but the food is generally good/decent. Their sweet tea is really yummy!

Friendly staff! Clean establishment, prompt service, willingness to please customers & help too! I am handicapped & they delivered my food to my table.
Staff were all busy with tasks for restaurant; condiments were full or being filled or cleaned, teas all full, lemons on ice, plenty of lids, straws & napkins at hand and all were going about their jobs quite happily.
Only reason it is not a "five star" rating is (yes, even fast food can rate highly, in there own class & kind of course) due to the noxious bleach/cleaner smell coming from their mopping. A bit upsetting because it attributed to the cleanliness I so admired but I have Lupus & the smell gave me nausea & dizziness and that held back a 5th star.
I SOOOOO miss that Golden Chic is not in the new UT Basketball stadium. 4 piece with extra gravy, fried okry and a cold ice tea and I'm in my happy place.
My husband and I love Golden Chick! We order the chicken take out. We look forward to "chicken dinner" night because we love, love the fresh tasting, perfectly battered, tender chicken.
The customer service is excellent as they actually seem to care about their customers which is not always the case these days.
Golden Chick is our go-to chicken takeout.
