Chorizo and egg on flour. Pretty good. Will come back and try their home made corn tortillas.
Flour tortillas were a little thick and needed to be crisped up a bit more. Good filling. Two for $7.50.
The best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Austin. Seriously it’s so good. I love the beef fajita taco and the Gordita.
It’s a family owned business and Maria is so passionate about making good food. The tortillas are made fresh daily and you get breakfast ALL DAY! Can’t get better than that!
We tried al pastor, beef fajitas & barbacoa & all were delish including the salsa & tortillas!! The tortillas are homemade!! Great flavor on all of their meats & plates are also available. Call ahead because there's always a line especially in the morning.
Aromatic, beautiful, delicious! The food was made with love and lots of hard work. Served hot and fresh right off the grill. Try the Tres Marias plate!
The barbacoa and pastor are outstanding. The owner has gone from taqueria to taqueria, bringing her clients with her to each locale until she finally decided to open up her own taco stand with her daughters here in South Austin and they’ve been going strong for the past three years. Highly recommend you come by if you’re craving tacos. Just absolutely delicious.
Highly recommend Tres Maria's Tacos! The ladies are so kind and the tacos are delicious! The corn tortillas are wonderfully home made amd portions are giant. There salsa Verde reveals those of Tamale Addiction and Taco Deli!
This is an absolute hidden gem! If you want authentic tacos with homemade tortillas,go here! We had the chicken fajita, barbacoa, pastor and carnitas tacos. The barbacoa literally melted apart. The pastor and chicken were our favorites! The salsas are nice and fresh and HOT! This place is incredibly great for the price as well. $3/taco! I’ll be sad if it gets super busy but happy for them because they deserve it. Take visitors here, I took my east coast father and he loved them.
Hands down the most authentic tacos in Austin. The ladies are super sweet, the tacos come out hot and fresh, and *all* the tacos are $2.50. You can't beat that anywhere. Oh, and the corn tortillas are the best I've ever had. I would've taken photos, but I inhaled them too quickly. Sorry, not sorry.
Mel brought me today after telling me I just had to try the food, I had the Al pastor and barbacoa. I am from the border and grew up walking into Mexico for 14 years and LEMME TELL YALL go here omg it’s comfort street food and it takes me right back home in every bite!! I used to buy their tacos often when I lived next door. Very good tacos. Never had a long wait. (2022/09/11) this is the best taco truck and best tacos.
