The food is always amazing! They have gluten free options as well. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet...... Taylor is great with drink recommendations!
Had a great time here last night. The food was absolutely fabulous - you can tell they get everything from local farms- and then are very creative and bold with all the flavors. We got the pickled vegetables, the house made herb bread, roasted padron peppers, the spicy vegetable posole, the farmers pizza & the funghi pizza, the beef tritip & the catfish. Everything was beautifully plated, well executed and we absolutely loved it all. We had great mixed drinks & draft beers. And we were spoiled with a dessert off the menu of ground cherries & melon- perfectly seasoned & such a treat. The lovely ambiance and knowledgable staff were icing on the cake. I can't wait to come here again!
I attended Forno's very special Rosé and MD Seafood Wine Dinner last Thursday, and the experience was unquestionably delightful. The food - crafted with clear passion and respect for seasonal provenance. The wine - skillfully paired and presented during each course with descriptions and notes that are sure to have deeply penetrated my sunken place. The service - top notch. Our server, Jude, moved swiftly and attentively, like a deer trained in both ninjutsu and fine dining hospitality. (She even shared her secret for homemade naan bread after some cajoling.) The sheer number of fresh wine glass that descended upon and seemingly vanished from our large table, almost as if by magic, should have been enough to send their team of dishwashers screaming and cursing from their kitchens, and yet they sallied forth and still hold jobs to this day. I say well done. The ambiance - as mirthful and gay as any Olive Garden commerical I've seen, and I've seen damn near all of them. But this was real. Five out of five stars, WILL BE BACK.
