First time at the restaurant and the food was really, really good. Shrimp toast is a tradition but usually it's very greesy but this restaurant that is NOT the case. The food was wonderful and delicious. The booths are cozy and and the restaurant was spacious. We will be back again soon.
THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE ONLY 5 STARS
let me tell you this story...
It's 9:17 on a Saturday night and I walk in after Rollerblading for hours at Skateland, I feel a moderate sense of guilt because all the other strip mall shops are closed and this sweet dude is eating his dinner so late because of his business, when he stops eating and walks up to me the friendliest man emerges and I tip him 2$ before I even order cuz I interrupted his meal...
I ask him about the deals going on and combo platters and I he gets me the best deal for my money, paying him 7$ was not enough for me so I hand him a 20 and say put the change in the tip jar...
HE ASKED ME IF I WAS SURE AND I WAS LIKE DUDE YOU ARE LITERALLY UP LATE AND BEING THE PINNACLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!
he thanks me and makes me the most delicious Szechuan dinner and before I leave he gives me a set of two panda bowls to eat out of(I got takeout) so I'm sitting in my car bout to cry cuz humans are such kind creatures.
I'm happy people like this exist. :)
We will definitely be going back! The two sushi rolls we got were far better than we were expecting from a strip mall restaurant. The rest of our food was great with flavorful sauces and generous portions. I do wish there were a few more vegetarian/vegan options. Prices are a bit higher than other places in the area, but still reasonable. We ordered take-out for dinner on a weekday and it was ready in about 25 minutes. This will be one of my go-to places in the area, especially if we're looking for sushi that doesn't break the bank.
