We arrived about 15 minutes before they opened & decided to wait in the car until 11 (This was a Sunday). Then we noticed a couple of children at the door, then some adults, then a large family, and so on, until in the span of a minute or two, people were lined down the sidewalk—in over 90° South Louisiana heat. (It was like Black Friday or when Apple releases a new phone.) We waited until *that* crowd made it inside the door and headed inside. Once we got in, before we moved at all, the line had wrapped around the inside of the restaurant.
The line moved pretty quickly, and we got our pizzas fast—within a few minutes of sitting down and fixing our soft drinks. It was very impressive.
And the pizzas? Delicious. The ingredients were fresh, the cheese was real cheese (they even grated the Parmesan), and that oven truly does heat it all up in a hurry.
I'll be back. A lot.
Highly impressed! Having Celiac Disease limits me so much in where I can eat. The staff at LIT were knowledgeable in gluten ingredients and precautions for cross-contamination. The food was delicious. The gluten free crust was light and crispy.
This is my new favorite place to eat! We have started a tradition of eating here once a week. This pizza is amazing! Fresh ingredients and a wood burning oven makes it taste so good! The service is always fast! The Gonzales location next to Rouses has awesome staff! 5 stars because I can't give it a 10!
