They onlybuse wild fish. Nothing farmed. Good quality sushi. Nice gem for Flushing
Had an amazing meal tonight. Super fresh sushi and wonderful service. The owner even brought us a house special on the house!! We’ll definitely be coming back!
Best sushi around, great place to take your girl on a date, take the family out or just a casual dinner. Prices are good to
I’ve ordered for pickup multiple times and this is my first time dining in! I came here with my parents on a Sunday early evening with only 2 other tables filled but as we were leaving this place was packed with dine ins and phone orders/pick up.
We ordered a “light” dinner of avocado salad, spring rolls, agedashi tofu for apps and two teriyaki bento box. We definitely over ordered because I was almost full from the apps alone, oops. Avocado salad was delish, came with thinly sliced avo and ginger dressing on the side. Spring rolls (Harumaki) was a bit disappointing in terms of side - it was ~$5 for essentially two spring rolls.
The salmon teriyaki Bento box was very filling and delish. Love that you can sub the shumai for tempura (only for $1 additional!) and that came with two shrimp tempura and 3 veggie pieces. Worth the upgrade if you’re not a fan of shumai. Even though we only ordered 2 bento boxes to share (parents weren’t too hungry), they gave us miso soup for all of us!
Service was great for the number of staff available and all the things each person had to do to hold down the fort. They were all super friendly and we got two slices of cantaloupe to end the meal!
Loved this sushi spot! What a hidden treasure - small and cozy, just a few tables with friendly staff. Great prices and very creative sushi rolls. Highly recommend the signature rolls: Handsome Boy and 73rd Ave! The menu looked extensive with lots of other yummy options that I have not yet tried. Definitely coming back again!
Amazing food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere!
We passby many times and there is always a line during weekend. Last Friday we want sushi, so give it a try.
The store is not a big, around 6 tables. About 4 tables of customers when we arrived. The price on the menu is reasonable (it's good deal). Since we are hungry, we ordered a party tray 2 and the Nabeyaki Udon. It didn't disappoint us. Fish are fresh and the sushi rolls are delicious. The noodle is a warm-you-up soup after eating cold food. Last but not least, we tries the tempura cheesecake. It's a interesting combination.
Forget to mention, their service is good and all the staffs and chef are friendly. We took so long to order (cause we can't decide what to eat). They didn't rush us. They made sure we had hot tea all the time. Even during their dinner time, the sushi chef came serve us.
It's not a high end sushi place like in Manhattan, but the food quality is good. The interior is not fancy but cozy. We always dine in Manhattan for Sushi, but since Covid and those Asian hates, we rather go to local. Sushi You is in our list.
Pretty good spot for sushi, fried rice, teriyaki and hibachi. The salmon tempura rolls were really tasty and fresh. The veggie fried rice was really good too. I cleaned my plate of everything. I’d definitely return when I’m back in Queens again.
Steve the owner is unbelievable!! His customer service is top of the line . On top of that the fish is soooooo fresh and everything is delicious I ordered from the place for the past year and it’s amazing every time
The chef and the servers were really nice and the sushi is great too! It's a nice friendly delicious place. Will come back again.
Ohs had sushi from lots of places and this place is by far the best, a lot of places load you up with more rice thank anything but this place makes it perfect.. the rolls are very well balanced and not alot of rice so you can taste everything else.. it’s one place I’ll keep going back too..
