Excellent food! Absolutely love this place. Best Greek food in New York. From their souvlaki, gyro, soup, pizza, salad, sandwiches... honestly everything here is so delicious.
Fontana has been my number one go-to for many, many years. Their food is tasty and reasonably priced. You can never go wrong with Fontana! 5 Stars!
Combination platter was excellent & huge: kebab, gyro meat: Greek salad, pita. Had it with the roasted lemon potatoes. Cup of soup was complimentary & good: hearty chicken rice with lemon. Limited parking. Good value.
Best Greek Food in the Area. Having married a Greek-American I absolutely love Greek food. Fontana always cooks us the best Souvlaki platters you can find in the area. Also try the Spanakopita (spinach pie), it's like my husband's mom makes it. The service is fast, professional and always helpful.
I also love how they decorated the place during Christmas. There was so much attention given to the decorations, you can tell that this place is still run by a family whose members work there every day.
Excellent Food, Restaurant Needs Expansion. I've eaten here for as long as I can remember, and the gyros have been especially delectable. However, this restaurant is quite small, which makes seating difficult at times. On a busy day, I've waited up to half an hour to get a seat. To compensate for this, the restaurant has rather quick service. The tract of land they own is not conducive to expansion, so I would like to see the owner open a new site.

Hands down best Gyro I have ever eaten. Huge portion, well worth the price, meat very flavorful. I had the Chicken and the Pork.,Both very very good.
I’ve lived in the area for years but just visited here recently and I wish I had tried it much sooner. I love their gyro sandwich! It feels very homey here and great service.
Perfect aveglomeno lemon chicken soup with perfectly cooked chicken kebab & medium rare souvlaki, big portion! With my favorite lemon potatoes & Greek salad! Worth the drive! Eating here since 1996!
Place is great, good food, nice portion sizes, and fair price. Owner and staff are nice. Place has been around for more than 40 years, I have been going there for over 30 years now and plan to keep going.
Fontana's gyro was delicious, especially with the tasty white sauce. It had a fresh and satisfying flavor. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys good food.

My wife and I have been coming here for years but we haven't visited recently. It's still the same very good Greek food. Where the fried calamari gyro platter lamb it was good it was all good service was excellent as usual they always were good ever since we've been going in there they've always been very attentive and nice. Be prepared to take food to go because you'll never finish all of it. The Waitress Maria is Excellent!
Absolute best gyros and souvalaki in the world. I've had them all over. Place hasn't changed one bit outside of the prices. Grew up blocks away and stopped on long layover in jfk. Just delicious. Have a gyro sandwich with a side of fries. And the pizza.... Wow!
Updated July, 2023. What a disappointing change in quality of food. Their gyros are terrible, seems like they are now using some sort of horse meet or something. The gyros seemed like chewed up meat. The only thing that is still the same is the soup. The overall quality went down and their prices sky rocketed. I will not go here again and do not recommend.
Sometime before 2023: The Gyros here are excellent, I love the soup. Service can use a little work.
