I got a pint to go. There are always any number of delicious flavors each day but they are not always the same. Call ahead if you want something specific.
With no hazelnut on the menu today, chocolate orange and salted caramel make a great combination. I also added some bittersweet chocolate.
There was no line and the server was friendly. Being a cold winter day, I got the ice cream home before it melted though I live about 15 minutes away. It wouldn't make it home in the summer without mostly melting.

Home made ice cream at it's best. Clean, airy store in the center of downtown Belmont. Friendly, young, hard working young servers. Ice cream cakes. Top quality but not inexpensive. Highly recommended.
Not only can you choose the many ice cream flavors but also the cones!
Small but cozy eat in area - can street park for 30 min free on Leonard street!

The owner of this place is a brother of the owner of Toscanini's. They are just ice cream brothers of Boston. The way they decorated the shop was pretty similar to the old Toscanini's (the one on Main St.) The design of the cups is just identical. The taste was great though. I like the fact that they have yogurt selections while Toscanini's does not. Staff are really friendly. One star was taken because some of the ice cream had ice on it. Like the ice cream melt a little bit and was refrozen again. Just a little though.
This is a great ice cream shop staffed mainly by young local kids. They even have a college fund tip jar with the logos of where the students are headed (or maybe currently attending, too!)
They have a wide variety of flavors and not always the same ones. I am allergic to chocolate and they have opened new ice cream containers to ensure there was no cross contamination from a chocolate tub.
I almost always get their ice cream, but most recently got their mango sorbet, it was fantastic.
This is a great local spot, there is always a line, but it moves quickly. They have set up some outdoor seating and there are some city benches in front of the store as well so you can still sit and enjoy your ice cream or treat even though indoor seating is currently still not available.
