I'm from out of town, a local gentleman told me about Raphaels. I checked it out and was not disappointed. A great lunch at a great price! Thanks!
Yummy home cooked style food. Food comes fast and hot. Bakery items are fresh and the best you can get in the area
Excellent for breakfast or lunch. Service is smiling and decor is fun, come just to see all the cookie jars! Generous portions for specials, home made soups are great! Just around corner is a great Art Gallery when you’re through.
I love Raphael's! I had the hot ham with cheddar cheese on potato bread with a cup of wild rice soup. No picture of the soup, I ate it before deciding I was going to do a review! But I got my soup, sandwich, chips, grapes, cookie, bread basket, AND 2 jelly donuts for under $15.00!!! Everything was delicious (and filling). The staff was nice. The place was clean, yet with that small town cafe vibe. If I really wanted to be picky I could say I wish the wild rice soup had carrots in it. But...I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will absolutely be dining there again.
I absolutely LOVE Raphael's Bakery! They have an amazing assortment of fresh baked goods every day! Everyone that works there is super friendly and always ready to help!
I was on a ice fishing trip to Red Lake in early December 2018 and wanted to pick up fresh bakery for the team. I did a Google Search and found this bakery in Bemidji. I purchased dinner rolls, a fresh baked blueberry pie, Zarba rolls "House Specialty" and brown sugar nut coffee cake. Everything was fantastic and made the fishing trip extra special. I Highly Recommend You Take the Time to Find Raphael's!
Awesome donuts, fresh every day! Very friendly and helpful staff! The building had a very small town cafe' atmosphere, very clean and tidy staff and building. The food I had was at breakfast time, and one of the staff walked arouind with a heaping plate of fresh-still warm- donuts, a welcome treat! I usually don't go for the plain donuts, as I love the raised donuts they have in the case, but the plain ones were great too! To the person that reviewed the bag of plain donuts, I know that they don't use the same oil for donuts and other food, and if you're going to rate a business with the cheapest/plain option at a restaurant, you're not going to get a helpful review. Try one of the at least 20 other premium flavors (Bavarian cream, long johns-some bacon topped, jelly filled, fried cinnamon rolls, fritters, etc)of donuts before putting down a private family owned small business! Everyone is struggling in these times, and this business is doing awesome!
