It's the best option for a traditional American breakfast. Omelets and pancakes are really good. The potatoes could be better.
Amazing breakfast food. I have not had a bad thing there and the prices are affordable too! Parking is free if you get into the Bethesda Place parking garage. You just need to scan your ticket at the restaurant.
This place was delish.. had waffles with strawberries & their potato with onions hash browns. So good. Son was majorly impressed with his sausage egg n cheese on a bagel. He thought it was sooo big lol we love our regular server we have every week. She knows exactly what we want and brings our drinks exactly as we sit down she is awesome
This place was okay. I think I’m used to the oph I have up in NY. The food was still good quality but the pancakes came out over cooked(and oddly shaped). I ordered two plates of pancakes and one came out perfect, so I know there’s a difference. I forgot to take a picture of it since that second plate came way after all the others (which tells me that it was forgotten and then rushed). I’m use to waiting a while for this food but this was a bit more than expected today. It wasn’t even that packed. Parking was in a lot for 5 bucks for an hour and they did have a kid’s menu.
Zed was lovely & helpful with menu recommendations. We came back the next day and she remembered us, we got hugs, she is a great person.
I have been thinking about this restaurant for 2 years because of the meaningful experience I had with them and how thoughtful and caring they were. I thought I wrote a review at the time but can’t find it so am writing another one. Long story short my Grandad, who was a general in the army and is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, used to make me the best buckwheat waffles. When I saw this restaurant had buckwheat pancakes I told them my story and requested they attempt a buckwheat waffle for me to take with me to visit my Grandad’s grave that day. They completed my request happily and I swear he stuck his hand in the batter that day because when I took a bite it made me cry happy tears. It tasted the same as his and I don’t know how they did it but I am so grateful! I live in Atlanta but will be visiting again soon and I know I will be making a trip here again, specially to ask for a buckwheat waffle. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness and kindness. It meant the world to me!
We were a large groups so it is understandable that food comes slower. But it took quite sometime before our orders were taken. Guests we sit in at around 10:40, but our orders came after 11:45. The food is adequate, but not thrilling.
I hadn’t been in for 11yrs and still serve amazing omelets. I always order the Irish omelet. And I am a breakfast food snob so very picky especially about eggs and omelets My regular server is darling Ida and the best!!! You will love her as she is warm, has a beautiful smile, and efficient and attentive with topping off their delicious coffee. They have free parking for 2hrs in the garage underneath the building. Just get your ticket validated before you leave restaurant.
Excellent. The classic crepes are perfect. Well made batter with just enough egg, milk and butter to make them lush. The ends are fine crisped and make the whole difference in the experience. That combination of taste and texture make these world class crepes in a world class city full of doughy pretenders
The eggs like wise are well balanced in their mix that allows for a fuller consistency but NOT thick and dry NOR full of air. The bacon is more rustic with a higher salt content and thicker cut. I like it yet others may not pending your fat tolerance.
I love their bread! I cut out the hash browns / home fries and ask for toasted white bread. It has a chewier consistency that I love and is quite filling. Coffee, bread, butter with jam and you have a Parisian breakfast.
I'd rather eat breakfast here than lunch in many places in the metro area.
Excellent and consistent!
Great breakfast place. If you love pancakes like I do, you have to try this place. They have all the traditional sausage, eggs and pancakes plus much more. There are strawberries, peach, mango, Nutella, raspberry and caramel craps. They make a delicious apple pancake that is hug and very hard to finish by one person. There is a lemon pancake that is also delicious.
There are also several more dishes but I’m there for the pancakes so I really can’t mention to much about them. Sorry 😃.
The restaurant has parking validation in the lot under the building and can be access thru Woodmint Ave. Hope you can try.
