First time coming here today it was a great experience. Everyone is so nice the bakery is very clean. Great selections. They also have awards close to the door. This is definitely a hidden gem. I got a bunch of desserts. I can’t wait to come back and try more.
Extraordinarily delicious!!!! I have tried many of their offerings - the baguette is outstanding for taste and texture - the tarts and croissants are unbelievably light - the quiche is simply marvelous.
The location can be awkward to get to; the service is polite and adequate; the atmosphere is clean and straight-forward.
Fresh Baguette is outstanding. If you have "Baguette" in your name you better deliver on baguettes. They really do. I've tried several kinds from the regular to the rustic - all were great. Pastries like the Napoleon and a chocolate bomb (not official name) are wonderful. The lunch quiches are very tasty and filling. I also bought a chocolate cake that was used as a birthday cake that was awesome. Fresh Baguette in Bethesda is my bakery of choice. Highly recommend!
FB Bethesda is wonderful. The people who work there are terrific! The coffee is excellent. I hear you are going to change the coffee. Could you reconsider please? Peet’s coffee is perfect for cappuccino! I’ve tried the other brands and they are just not as good. Thanks for considering.
Lovely cafe and top quality food & pastries. Norwegian crogel, Nutella croissant & transitional baguette are my favourites. Fresh brew club is unbelievable value. Leave a little extra time to pick up your orders because they’re sometimes understaffed so be patient. All staff are lovely
Fresh Baguette Bethesda is a little hidden Gem. Yes they have fresh and delicious pastries and breads , but what makes this bakery special are the people who work there. Geary , the manager, has a warm and welcoming demeanor that permeates down to his entire staff and I have to say it makes a huge difference. They make you feel welcomed and special.
It’s a treat, literally,to spend a little time there.

I splurged on pastries today (more than I intended because I couldn’t resist the raspberry tart and they only had one full sized tart left and no minis) and I would say it was a worthwhile purchase. I got 4 mini pastries, 3 full sized canelé (I thought they were mini too, oops), and an individual raspberry tart for just under $28! There’s other overpriced places in Bethesda where I’d spend the same amount of money for a small sandwich, a small side, and a small drink.
As someone who isn’t a big chocolate fan, the chocolate filled mini eclair and salted caramel chocolate tart were delicious! They weren’t too sweet, there was a slight hint of bitterness, and the chocolate flavor was a little more subtle. The black forest macaron was pretty and well made but I thought the flavor was okay. It did taste a lot like one of those chocolates with the cherry flavored goo in the middle. I haven’t tried the raspberry tart yet but I’m sure I’ll love it! I’m happy I discovered this place and will be glad to come back again one day and recommend it to others.
Fresh Baguette is a nice place for having your breads croissants baguettes Sandvich etc. It's a nice open bakery where everything is displayed very nicely. They have tarts and cookies, coffee etc. There's a seating of around 15 people out in open to enjoy a quick meal. There's personal parking for 2 cars in front of the bakery.
I'm one of the lucky winners of a fresh baguette every week for a year - and it's a pleasure to enjoy this weekly pleasure. Each week I try another product - a quiche; a blueberry muffin; a sandwich; pastry - and every purchase is delicious. Bravo!
The most delicious sourdough bread in Bethesda! Grocery sourdough in Bethesda doesn’t hold a candle to this. It has the perfect crunchy exterior and soft interior. The perfect chew factor. I picked up a sourdough baguette and loaf. I ate half the baguette before I was home. It was so soo sooo yummy! I want to eat it at every meal. With nothing, with butter, pesto, peanut butter YUM!! Can’t get enough!
