Very reasonably priced entree. Great service and surprisingly not that crowded, but I admit we went there on a week day. The waiter remembered the orders for five without writing down. Will go there again. My only complaint is that the restrooms were in the second floor. Btw, no bread came with the entree and didn't bother me. I would give 4.5 stars.
Had the firehouse burger which was probably the best burger ever. Service was great and the selection of beer was pretty sweet. Already planning to go back.
The food is good at the restaurant. We ordered the nachos with chicken, and it was amazing. I wish they did the nachos with refried beans rather than black beans as it taste so much better with refried beans. The southwest bowl with salmon was delicious, but they gave a small piece of salmon for 8 dollars that made it expensive. The sandwich with mac and cheese was good as well. The carrot cake was ok, but it tasted better with ice cream. The service was good, but there was only one server serving inside and outdoors, so we had to look out for him for our requests. They should hire more servers as it is a pretty big restaurant to only have 2 servers to cater to everyone. We had a great time despite getting things a little late than usual, but I would still recommend this place.
Great ambiance and plenty of draft beer selections made in house! The service can get slow sometimes. The food is ok, I wouldn’t suggest their flatbread options though since they are on a dry side and crust is not the best!

Love coming here for a burger and a beer or to meet friends. Very friendly servers and bartenders. They have a couple pool tables on the second floor. Great place for meeting coworkers or having an event. The road in front has been closed since Covid and on a nice day you can have your beer and food outside on picnic tables. There's a large city parking structure half a block away so parking is not an issue.
Wish I would have taken a picture of the pretzel sticks and queso but you will have to take my word for it that it was amazing. As was this salmon and Brussel sprouts. Awesome atmosphere. If you get the chance head upstairs amd play some games too! From pool, connect four, shuffle board, and more you're bound to have a great time and good food here.
We stopped by for lunch this past weekend and it was a good experience. The food was good, they definitely could use more seasoning on their burgers, but it wasn’t terrible. Stay away from the Mac and cheeses, it’s just not good. The brussel sprouts however where immaculate! The drinks are also pretty good. Our bartender was nice and attentive even though she had several customers. We also went upstairs to play a game of pool. You have to leave your license or some form of ID with the bartender, then they give you the balls and you get your stick from the pool area
upstairs. At least that’s what happened when we went. There was no bartender working upstairs, so you’ll have to go downstairs if you want a drink. This is a pretty good restaurant all things considered. They can definitely improve on some things, but we would definitely return.
My entree was perfect, one of the contemporary "bowls". My beverage which includes a house beer was perfect. The hostess was a 10. The bartenders provided outstanding service and were knowledgeable of the house beers. The TVs behind the bar are actually at the perfect eye level. Most other bars actually mess this up; forcing patrons to look up. The bar area has a HUGE common table. The place seemed well maintained and was clean. Many booths in the seating area for families. The street outside is only for pedestrians making it calmer for everyone and safer for running toddlers. This part of downtown Bethesda is overall a pleasant experience.
The comedy show was only fair. I didn't like the political topics or the man who kept saying "white girls this" and badgering the audience. It's in a cramped dark setting; its a side room from the main dining area. I watched Larry David clips on the way home to get the comedy I wanted that night.
Stopped by for happy hour with coworkers. The drinks were good, and all were $2 off. I also had the chipotle bbq wings and the sweet smokey wings. They were saucy and flavorful. I liked the sweet smokey wings best—they had a bit of a spicy kick to them. The service was attentive, quick and welcoming. The location of the restaurant could not be better.
The Rock Bottom Comedy space is a warm and welcoming room for comedians of all levels, their friends and other audience members. The adjoining bar and restaurant are also very vibrant. Come on Saturday nights to eat and drink as heartily as you’ll laugh!
I enjoyed my ribs they were tasty sweet and just done right.. falling off the bone right.
Nice cozy place this was my second visit in a month. The staff quite friendly washrooms clean. Kid friendly the street out front is a no car zone ...quite wonderful.
As far as bars go this place has endured in Bethesda for a long time and for good reason. It’s one of the best. The beer is pretty good (not craft brewery amazing). The food is decent. This is a good place to go if you are catching up with friends or just want a chill night out at a bar.
