I tried the strawberry cheesecake waffles, they were good for dessert. The waffle isn't too sweet, is perfect.
The waffles were very tasty, but the service was exceptional. Very impressed with this little gem inside Montgomery Mall's food court. We were on a search for waffles and had no idea that our Google search was going to take us to a food court. We took a chance and tried the waffles. They are on the light side, like in Europe, not the heavier version we see in the US. I liked it and my husband found them too airy, but we both agreed they tasted delicious. What made the experience exceptional however, was the young man serving us. He was delightful, warm and friendly and really cared about his guests experience.
This is the mall location of the main outlet in DC and we are so thankful for that! They serve the yummy waffles in the mall and I don't have to drive to DC to get my fix! The waffles are awesome - light, fluffy and cooked just right. I like Fried Chicken Waffle. Portion size is good too and the price is very reasonable.

Nice variety of savory waffle dishes, especially the peking duck waffle sandwich. I tried one of the waffles with ice cream and thought it could've been more extravagant and it was not worth the price. All of their soups are really good however be careful because the soup temperature for all of them is always way too hot and takes a very long time to lower in temperature so be very cautious as I burnt my tongue and now always tell them no lid and add ice before eating it.
WIcked Waffle has a wide variety of ways to make waffles delicious. They have creatively used waffles as bread for sandwiches that are delicious, made french toast with waffles that is awesome, and the delicious dessert waffles are from another world. The greatest thing about the place though is employees like Walt that make your visit like a trip to a 5 star resort. My whole day was better after spending a few minutes with him. Do yourself a favor and go to Wicked Waffle.
I love this place! Make sure you order "The Works" even though it's not on the menu. It's a waffle with ice cream and a host of syrups topped with whipped cream. The waffles are crispy and fluffy and I've never had a negative experience here. I wish they had more drink options like milk and hot chocolate though!
I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I"ll admit I was a little skeptical at first. Sandwich items slapped between two waffles didn't sound quite right to me, nor healthy, but my husband seemed to enjoy the mozzerella, tomato, and arugula sandwich. I got the chicken and waffles, and it balanced the savory and sweet well, and the waffle was nice and light. The fried chicken was more like chicken katsu, which was a nice twist to the tradition.
The place is located in the food court of the mall, so it's not exactly a place to bring a date, but certainly a nice place to stop at after a long day of shopping.
One of my favorite places to eat! I am so happy they have a location in Maryland. They have all kinds of savory and sweet waffles. The waffles are used as bread for many sandwich types of meals. My favorite is the smoked salmon with cappers, onions and some cream cheese. The tiramisu is delicious but hard to eat in one sitting since its so rich. They make the waffles from scratch and the service is very kind. You really can't go wrong eating here!
I grew up in Germany and yes this is my kind of place. Waffles the way I like them. And who will argue with Nutella? No syrup so what? You get fresh fruit! Just one complaint they do not have coffee! They do have many gluten free options!
I had the gluten free wake with turkey and brie. Other than taking a while, it was pretty delicious. Definitely not your average mall food. Highly recommend.
