I had SUCH a nice time here! We got a spot on the patio outside and the weather was absolutely perfect. I love how much patio seating they have, and the lights and lanterns they had hung up were so fun and bright. Service was good, everyone was attentive and our water stayed filled. I got a strawberry margarita, which was very tasty and not too strong. The chips were thin and crispy, and the salsa wasn't spicy at all and had a good flavor. I ordered 3 tacos, I tried the Nopal cactus taco, the Al Pastor taco, and the Alambre. I think the Alambre was my favorite. The cactus was good, it tasted a bit like a fried green pepper or zucchini, but was a little slimy. Still, I would get it again and I'm glad I branched out and tried something new. I would recommend it if you wanted to be adventurous but not TOO adventurous. They came with a green sauce that was creamy and spicy, and an orange sauce that was thinner and less spicy but still with a little kick. Both sauces were really good. I got the churros for dessert and I feel bad saying they were my least favorite part of the meal! They came out HOT and fresh and rolled in cinnamon sugar, but I think they really needed a pinch of salt to take them to the next level. I liked both the chocolate and caramel sauces with them. I also tried a bite of the Flan and I definitely regretted not getting that instead, it was SO rich and creamy and cinnamon-y. I DEFINITELY want to go back and try more tacos, more margaritas, and more desserts. I wish I lived closer, I could see myself eating here all the time.

Overall: 4.50. Authentic, savory Mexican dishes & adult beverages—best in Bethesda. Delicious street tacos 🌮 & freshly prepared guacamole 🥑. Excellent table & bar service. Casual, relaxed vibe. Bar area, small dining room & large covered patio. Located near other trendy hotspots in Bethesda. Starbucks & Dunkin Donuts located near for a cup of joe. ☕️

Nice place, good Mexican food, good prices. I was there for lunch. I liked their very light, not oily chips and homemade salsa. I ordered the salad with mango and two fish tacos. The salad was a good size, and tacos were smaller than I expected, but it was good $20 lunch

Great waiters and workers! The guac, queso apps were ok. Nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary! My beef tacos were awesome! Filled with flavorful meat! The green chili enchiladas were good, but the sides were just okay. Also ordered the churros. Came with only 3, and without the dipping Nutella, it wouldn’t have been that great.

Review Update 7/15/22: This is my go-to place for local Birria Tacos. I also tried the fried Queso Oaxaca today, which was delicious! Original Review: I absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. I had the Chicken Mole Tamale. I shared the Birria tacos, which were amazing but the consommé was divine, I could've drank it. My friend had the Chicken Enchiladas which I tried and were really good.
