Great happy hour. Warm, friendly staff and clientele. Jason was an amazing bar tender. Felt totally comfortable by myself. Everyone talked to me. I'll be back.
Love This Bar! It's been my bar for the last 5 years and I'm only putting it in past tense because I'm the one leaving. Chill in doors and out. Jason and his crew are my favorite. Jason makes you feel like part of the family, Will's your immediate best friend, and if Matt makes an entrance he gives you the sense it's just one big party. It might be hard to find, but Once you find it, you'll keep going back!
This is one of the greatest places in Bethesda, a hidden treat. Great people, great bartenders, and it can be as frugal as you can contain yourself. Believe me, it might be hard. A good menu, especially after a beer or two, or whatever you like, and they serve late, which is cool. It's not five star, it's friendly. Bring a smile! A lot of cooks and servers and late night workers hang after their hours. The regulars will ask you your story. Pool tables, first come first served. The outside bar is always rockin' and the music is almost always on, unless you want to catch a game or something and they'll put it on. I heartily recommend you check it out.
I came here one night and tried to order a burger. The server told me no, I couldn't have one. I didn't know what to say, and then he paused and said that I could order one in 5 minutes. Why? I asked. He told me that burgers were half price on Wednesday evenings starting at 7 p.m. and he wanted me to get the best deal. I had a good laugh, and called him back soon after to order my half price burger. 5/5 excellent service and tasty burger.
Came out on a date with my hubby recently(Bethesda bar hopping) & love how this place has is still the same cool dive bar with the best drink specials in Bethesda. Jason and the rest of the staff are really sweet. They play a great variety of music from old school hip hop to 80s pop. Cool little patio tiki bar in the back along with free parking lot.
Great food. Excellent bartenders. Friendly atmosphere all the way through. Food is excellent... my personal favorite is chicken fried chicken on a Sunday coupled with a nice spicy bloody mary.... forget about it!!!
Johnny Bang is not getting the kind of sales that he should. He is a bar patron's owner and the food is quite good. Give this guy some love, he deserves it. Maybe if you do, he can bring back live music. Yes, this is how you spell it. Not the color/precious stone folks.
It's a dive in every since of the wod. I think we doubled the foot traffic when our party rolled in, but the bartenders were awesome and kept our group well talked to and well served. We had a hard time walking to the next bar. Thanks guys!
Love this place! Been stopping in for a few beers after a haircut at 8000 Barbershop for over 8 years now. Stop in to see J and smoke a dart in tiki bar out back.
Jason and all the bar tenders are friendly and attentive. A good local place to sit, relax, enjoy friends and laugh. Good food just adds to the atmosphere.
Excellent atmosphere. Good food. Great games. Lots of fun. Will and Jason are the best. Highly recommended this place for Monday/Thursday/Sunday night football.
