Hello everyone! This is Robin from Le Cake Design Studio. This message is in response to a review because unfortunately I cannot reply to reviews with a glitch with google at the moment. I am replying to Odonata’s review, I have never met her and do not know her name, we spoke over the phone once, also this is the only review I have that is anonymous which speaks volumes. First, the conversation we had was pleasant, she wanted a winter theme cake with very delicate buttercream piping of pine needles, I told her I was afraid of them cracking and breaking during her 40 minute drive she had to make, if anyone knows me they are aware I am extremely cautious with my clients cakes, I never want an issue that would affect their cake. She initially wanted a 2 tier cake and we discussed other decorating/embellishment options for a winter themed cake, I suggested a sweater embossed fondant cake, so I quoted her a 10” and 6” cake with a sweater mold, the quote included the fondant which is more expensive than buttercream, the time to make the sweater embellishments and a satin covered cake board which I do for all my cakes, plus I added in the possible cake samples she was to pick up to try 3 different flavors. It may have been more than she wanted to spend so then the 8” cake was discussed, so again the quote she mentioned was for the 10” and 6” embossed tiered cake, not a single 8 inch cake which in no way would cost what she stated. In the end she really wanted the buttercream with the fine piping and unfortunately I had to tell her I could not make that particular cake because I was afraid it would possibly be damaged from the long drive. She said she would discuss it with her significant other and get back to me, again a pleasant exchange. I have no idea why she made a review like this, the only thing I can think of is she was upset because I had to decline that particular buttercream cake with the pine needle piping and suggest she find someone else who would and was closer to her. I have not and would never be rude to a client or future client ever. Best in the state, I am not sure about that comment unless she is referring to an article by TLC called 50 States of Wedding Cakes in which I am named for Iowa, with a picture of one of my cakes. As every business on Google knows from articles, they rarely remove reviews and I have never had a google review removed. Finally, she has reviewed me 4 times on different sites, this review for today was her second one here on Google, she reviewed me months ago and had to have deleted it to make this new 4th one today, this is pretty excessive in my opinion as I’m sure many would agree, she has been reviewing me for 9 months.

Robin did a great job of listening to & understanding my daughters vision for her wedding cake! And she executed perfectly too! Not only are Robin's cakes beautiful to look at, they are delicious too!. I highly recommend Robin of Le Cake.

Le Cake is simply THE BEST!! Not only are the cakes delicious but the designs are absolutely one of a kind! I first worked with Robin for my wedding five years ago. We had rave reviews about the cupcakes and there was not a single one left at the end of the night. Since then we have used Le Cake for many other special occasions like my dad’s retirement party, our wedding anniversary, birthdays, and baby gender reveals. No matter the event or the size of cake- Robin makes every cake one to remember both with the taste and especially the presentation. Robin always goes above and beyond and always exceeds my expectations. I recommend Le Cake any chance I get. Everyone deserves the exceptional quality of cake and unique design that Le Cake delivers every time!

We hired Le Cake for my daughter’s wedding last May (2017). Let me just say the cake was stunning and it tasted just as good! Robin just was outstanding from the planning phase to the final product. I highly recommend her for your wedding cake needs.
