The patio is open! Best patio in town. Service is on point, friendly, even fun. Never had a bad meal. Our go to place.
The Windmill & Bar51 catered our wedding and did an exceptional job! Julie and her team planned our meal with ease, working with the budget we provided. When the wedding day came, the food was prepped, served, refilled, and then cleaned up. We had more than a few compliments about how great the food was! Elias and Kirsten were a dream to work with! Both bartenders were professional and we were very happy with the outcome of the night regarding the cash bar. We enjoy the Windmill on a regular basis, but for the wedding we were thrilled! As a bride, the less you have to worry about the better- the Windmill & Bar51 took care of every aspect of our food/drink at a reasonable price, we highly recommend!
The food is amazing. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Lots of gourmet dishes to choose from!! Our server was clearly trying her best to be attentive to the many customers she had. Great tap beer and wine selection!!
The caramel cheese bombs are amazing .....must try !!!

Had a nice family dinner at the Windmill a couple of days ago. The service was excellent, the food was excellent! Would definitely recommend the chicken fried steak, the chicken Alfredo and the finger steaks.
The food was good. Wife got the roasted chicken which was seasoned nicely. The mashed potatoes were blah. I had the Mill burger which was good but had to have it remade due to not being medium rare. Prices were on the high side but other than that it was a good experience.
Came on a whim, was looking for something good to eat for a brief stay in town. I was not disappointed! The Salmon is an 8oz portion, more than enough and cooked to perfection. I enjoyed every bite...shout out to Brittany for her amazing and crazy fast service. Promote ahead of peers!
The windmill is a great place to have a family meal at. There staff are friendly! There’s room to have a big headcount. There fast and efficient with ordering so it makes things go smoothly. Although it is a little pricey it’s well worth a visit.
The Windmill has become our favorite nice place to dine in Billings. Not long ago, it had strange open hours, was very expensive for so-so food.
Today, it has regular hours, delicious food, and good service.
Last night Young had a bowl of beer chicken chili. Outstanding !! Everything else was also good, but the chili deserves special recognition.

Ozzie is a very good waiter. We had a long discussion about Zinfandel wine. I commented that white Zin may have been part of the birth of California wines in the 70s, but that true red Lodi Old Vine Zin was the only palatable Zinfandel.
Ozzie did not disagree but pleasantly served me a glass of your Zinfandel aged in whiskey barrles. It was very good.
The Bar 51 steak is amazing, with a twice baked potato! Awesome staff and service. Oh, and make sure you save room for dessert!
Everything was great... we had a child... late at night....service was AMAZING! Prime rib was ASTOUNDING!! Landon treated us like we're the cats meow... My family is from Butte and we wish there was a Windmill here. Great job guys!! We will be back!!
