Tonight The Golden Corral honored those who served in the Military Service of this Nation with a free meal. A delicious steak dinner. It was emotionally moving to be in that place with all those brave servants. I was especially proud to be with my uncle who served in the Air Force during World war ll.
My boyfriend, Steve, and I went for the "Thank You" Dinners for Veteran's Day (11/11/13) and, I couldn't be happier. The service was great, the food was great, awesome experience. I'm very grateful that your company has honored the Veterans they way they should be honored. Thanks so much!
Very clean, very polite. Only complaint was I ordered medium rare steak. It was charcoal outside and still blue half frozen inside. Otherwise everything else was perfect.
We had a group of 11 on Thanksgiving, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and organized well enough to have multiple lines of Thanksgiving favorites, and the staff was friendly and working hard to keep things ready for everyone. In fact, the employees were on top of it all through our time there! Our waitress cleared dishes regularly and made sure no one ran out of water. It's always wonderful to be able to please a big crowd with lots of tastes.
Our waiter was absolutely wonderful! He deserves a raise! I enjoyed the food also. But the waiter was the highlight! Have never had a waiter go full Sprint to get me a fork. His name is Zachary and I suggest him and the golden corral for great food and service.

There's a first time for everything and today I was in for a special surprise! The group I was with were familiar with our destination, while I felt like I was on a treasure hunt. Especially considering my sweetie was as confused as I was as to where we were suppose to be. A telephone later, one left turn and we found the rest of our party impatiently waiting at the front of... TADA!!! Golden Corral.
Expecting to go into a 'be served' style restaurant, I was delightfully surprised to find it was buffet style, much like Home Town Buffet in California. Did I tell you I was a Wyoming newbie? LOL...
While all the rest of the party walked past all the different sections of food, I'm afraid I was lagging behind, because the first station was, of course, DESSERTS! And you know what THEY say. "Life is short, eat dessert first." *sigh
Catching up with the crew, we settled at a table and then it was chow time. Whoa Nelly!! Where did one start? Hmmm... How about a nice cool salad, Done. Then off to the Brazier station for some 'So HOT fried chicken', it was still steaming when we got back to the table. Talk about finger lickin' good. I'm think a certain chicken chain might be in trouble.
Finally, the dessert station. By now I was really full, but... well, you know. How about a little dollop of Banana Creme pudding, Chocolate Mousse, a couple tiny chocolate chip cookies and, I'm now in a food coma.
Is this place worth ALL the hype I've seen on TV and heard via word of mouth? Can I just say YESSSSSSSSSSSSS PLEASE. Will I be back. Just as soon as I recover from the gastronomical delights from today.
**5 Thumbs up.... Highly Recommend.
The server Zach is THE BEST!!!! He was so kind and helpful on Thanksgiving Day & we appreciated it more than he'll ever know. Thank you for the good time! We'll come back and request you every time if you want us! :)
A great selection of very fresh and tasty food. So many choices! We go as often as we can. No waiting on busy staff to get what you want when you want it. Very crowded on Thanksgiving but the staff did a great job keeping up and always with a smile and positive attitude.
This is a great buffet, especially for family and big groups. They have a good salad bar, lots of fried foods, vegetables, and many different kinds of desserts. You can reserve a room that seats about 50 for large groups.
