Despite what those who refuse to visit this place and post anyway based off feelings, this place is an amazing environment. The lounge is nice and spread out, unlike other coffee shops. The coffee was absolutely satisfactory, and their grilled cheese was to die for. The prices are very fair, and competitive compared to other shops. There is also a board for donations, in which the money is used to go to coffee for the homeless. The owners give out straight coffee, with no goodies to the homeless for free, but the money goes towards a little bit more sweet of coffee. Despite the negative buzz, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to all. I would recommend anyone to take a chance and try this place out. No regret on my part. I Will Definitely return. For some coffee and GRUB! Let's not forget they deliver and are open 24/7!
I've been going here for at least the good part of a year and have never had a bad experience. I've heard the rumors and have met the owners and from my experience, they're good people who sell the best coffee I've had in town. Love the location and the decoration, and genuinely enjoy stopping there when I'm downtown. I'd say to at least try the coffee, it's well worth it.
Braden and Larry have created a master piece! This is the best thing to hit the city of billings!! Best coffee in town hands town. The employees are fantastic,friendly, and fast. This place will become your new A.M routine. It's definitely a must see if your visiting!!
This coffee shop is an icon for small business to look up on. It has an original atmosphere, and great gourmet coffee. I suggest trying the "Mad Dog" your first time in. Do not listen to the whiny liberals who sling mud on the name, they're friendly people, and until I witness the alleged "misogyny" and "racism" done by them, that is how I will see these people, coexist.
I know that this place had a rough start getting going however I feel you liked they paid their dues. This place is open late friendly for your young adults without and is a rare find in Nightlife that doesn't serve alcohol or encourage drugs that's giving something back to the community that people overlook.
Only coffee shop I know of that is open 24-7. The ribs are falling off the bone good. Live music, a book exchange etc. The coffee is as good and better than most shops in town. I heard about all the negative publicity about this place, and found out for myself that this is an establishment I will support!
Before coming in, reading reviews makes you leary, but allowing benefit of doubt dropped in and gave it a try. I've been to Starbucks, Rock Creek, Holiday Stations, Burger King, Harder, etc.. Although you can find cheaper coffee at other businesses, theTavern's coffees hands down are better and smoother without the bitter taste, in my opinion. As far as the business itself clean, does have the neatest restrooms, men's and women's, they do have both contrary to reviews. I enjoyed the atmosphere here and was not I'll treated as reviews will lead you to believe, best thing they are open 24 hr.'s and deliver. Hard to beat in my opinion, since most businesses close early in downtown Billings.
