I love Gencarelli's! It reminds me of the bakery in the Italian neighborhood I grew up in. Each time I have gone the bakery items are fresh and delicious. Their prices are reasonable too.
Gencarelli's is one of the best bakery's around this area. My fav is there birthday cake with ice cream and strawberry filling!
100% Authentic Italian bakery. My boss stops in every now and then and gets various items. Everything I’ve had is fresh and delicious. The danish are always amazing. The cherry and apple danish aren’t far my favorite from what I have had. I would like to try everything they bake. It all looks amazing.
The cannolis are great! My fiancés childhood bakery the cakes are OMG i took some to family all the way in Virginia Beach Va & they loved it!❤️

My husband gets their Black Forest cake for my birthday every year. It’s my favorite cake of all time and they do it justice. It’s the best black forest cake I have ever eaten so far! The cake is fresh, you can taste chunks of cherry in the filling, and the chocolate cake is moist with just enough balance of sweetness and bitterness from the chocolate. I’m glad we found this bakery and we’ll continue to get our cakes here.
Hands Down Best Strawberry Cheese Cake Ever! Today I had a thanksgiving Pot luck at Work and My Coworkers wanted Seconds 😅! If you’re looking for fresh strawberry cheese cake this is the place! 🙏👍😁❤️
The french baguettes are delicious here, and you really get your money's worth.
My only gripe is that I wish they would automatically bag the end of the bread with the plastic looking produce bags they have.
The breads are longer than the paper bag they put it in, and I have to deal with the free edge of bread touching the car seat. But I never have issues when I ask for a bag though.
Highly recommend this bakery. They have a large variety of pastries. The employees very helpful, fast service. I'm from Philadelphia, PA but this is the only place I buy my pastries for me and my family members who lives in Belleville, NJ.
