We came in for a late Saturday lunch and just wow. One of the owners was here and greeted us in such a friendly manner. We had a great conversation with him and learned more about him and he provided some great food recommendations.
If you like meat, the schnitzel with the beet and apple salad in a dill sauce was absolutely delicious. If you are vegetarian, try the fettuccine or the zucchini and tomato salad as both were incredible combos of flavors. We will definitely will be back to check their dinner menu soon!
Satis is really a welcome addition to the Bloomfield restaurant row. I am chagrined at the realization I missed this gem. Gracious staff, sumptuous food and a sophisticated yet urbane fit for any pallate. The environment is open yet soothing after a long day or commute.
I tried their outstanding foie gras! The finishing grey salt was the piece de resistance. Next was the tripple cream brie, speck and spicy apricot jam. Served with a few slices of tender, yet crispy baguette.
There was so much more, including burgers, chicken, desserts - too many to name at this first visit. The cocktails... I am at a loss for words. We sampled a few of the bartender's recommendations along with libation substitutions for those who prefer a specific spirit.They even suggested wine pairings for each course.
From the hostess to the barteder to the wait staff, eveyone was attentive and memorable.
I am looking forward to becoming a regular patron.
Half Pan Seared Chicken was delicious and strawberry mixed drink. The only set back is wait time for your food. You have to have good conversation topics to keep you busy .. Appetizers take 35 minutes.
I love the atmosphere and hospitality of this place. The food is delicious and the chef is pretty creative with his combinations. The vibe is laid back, a nice place for an afternoon drink or a date night. I only have 4 stars because they recently changed their overall theme/concept and I need a few more visits there before giving it the full 5 stars. It is a place that keeps you wanting to go back for more!
This old favorite has been renovated to beyond it's original beauty. The bar itself is magnificent and the decor of the rest of the dining room is beyond compare! The Chef has managed to find an amazing balance between fine dining and incredible tavern fare. Awesome and interesting appetizers, homemade pasta, burgers, fine seafood and wonderful gourmet entrees . Interesting cocktails and nice selection of wines. You can't go wrong here!!
Great spot. Meals are consistent and there is quality in multiple dishes I have had. Brought friends, family, and work here - our baby has also tagged along. Atmosphere and environment was loved by all.
