The customer service is EXCELLENT. They have great quality meats and everything is always fresh. Hands down the best curry goat in this area. The homemade drinks are really good too.. This place will always be a favorite for me and my family!!
I've been looking for a great local spot for Jamaican food and I think I finally found my favorite place. I've tried a few spots in the area and nothing compares to the amount of flavor and the quality of service that I got from Tafari Tropics.
I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, plantain, and an extra side of curry chicken. The oxtail has amazing flavor and they don't skimp out on the amount of meat they serve with the oxtail. The curry chicken again has tremendous flavor and just the right amount of spice. I also ordered curry goat with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantain. The curry goat was very tender and just like the chicken had just the right amount of spice.
I definitely recommend this place. I'll be back to try out some of the breakfast items.
I love Tarafi so much! Absolutely delicious Caribbean food. My only complaint is that the food is way too spicy. I’m Caribbean I don’t mind a little spice but I just think that there’s too much ginger in the rice. Ginger is definitely overpowering when you use a lot of it & then on top of that the meat contains spice from the scotch bonnet. So altogether it’s too much spice if you know what I mean. One love still though. I support🙌🏾

I always order from Tropics- but tonight this was by far the BEST meal I've ever had. Their food is always made with LOVE! You will be filled up and left satisfied.

The food is freshly made and delicious. The service is also great. The jerk chicken was well seasoned and the rice as thoroughly cooked. I recommend trying it. I am looking forward to trying more dishes from here.
Not everyone can make Jamaican food to suit me, but this is the spot. OMG...the oxtail & Curry goat. They're clean, good food, friendly & I believe honest. Been living in Jersey for a minute and just could not find a good spot without having to drive to far. So glad they are here.
