Coffee and my ham and cheese omelette was very good , but the place could use a good cleaning.Windows and all the glass was very dirty and the kitchen looked like it could use a cleaning also.The owners and waitress were very pleasant and helpful.Definitely will go again and hopefully the owner will read this and clean the place a little better.I would recommend the Chalet

Great place, friendly staff very very reasonable prices the food is good and fresh you can see attention to detail. Very casual and laid back atmosphere . Bring the kids is GREAT
Ok this can be hit or miss depending on when you go. I find the weekends to be the best. The cook in there I think is the owner. Rami Chalet ( I hope I spelled that right) is a wonderful man with a good heart and his help that he has is always dead on. Even some of the locals that go there are funny and make the experience. I would have done 5 stars but sometimes you ask for something off the menu and they are out of it.. With that said I will go back so worth a pop in. Find his breakfast to be best. Also fills up quick.
The Chalet Coffee Shop has a hometown feel, it's the pulse of the community when you visit Bloomfield; It's what made this town feel like home to me. Rami, the chef and owner takes pride in his establishment, and he should- it's clean, tasteful interior, excellent service and fantastic food are what you get when you visit.
Breakfast and lunch are what you will find here- well prepared eggs, sandwiches, salads- and even a taste of Rami's heritage Lebanese cuisine as well. The coffee is great, and Rami is eager to accommodate your order no matter how particular about the way you want your eggs prepared, or what goes on the side.
It's the perfect place for the morning after a night out- brunch with a friend, or alone at a booth, you never feel lonely or out of place; it has a way of welcoming its diners, whether you want to sit alone quietly or participate in the random discussions with Rami or the customers.
I highly recommend becoming a regular here.
