Loved everything about the menu!!! Great service and recs by our server --she did not steer us wrong. Beef jerky, which is anything but dry! We tried 2 different tacos (ahi tuna poke and steak--tiny orders of 3, but good if you just want a few preview bites), and fried beef wontons. Such good food (talk about flavor bombs!), good looking cocktail menu (need to go back to try), and good selection of craft beers. Peeked at the brunch menu and can't wait to come back into town and hit it up.
Besides a great meal.
Last night a food server at Kapow Noodle Bar - Boca Raton noticed I dropped my napkin, without me asking he showed up with a new one and said I noticed you dropped your napkin. It’s the little things that create great experiences.
That’s a culture.
Bento lunch special was great. Love the cauliflower in style of General Tso’s chicken, though wished the pieces had been cut smaller since it’s tricky cutting them up in that bento box
Nothing quite prepares you for the surprises in life, the serendipitous moments that make a pleasant day extraordinary..... and then suddenly, Kapow!
This is a smallish space with large ambition, and a delightful disposition.
While Lady Ford and I (Watson electing towards other plans across the state) concentrated on small plates, allowing us the freedoms to explore a variety of flavors and tastes, we were never disappointed and in fact my ranking went way up simply by the very aura of the experience, all other culinary and gastronomic bells already having been rung!
Surely we shall return with Watson in tow!
I really don't know why this place doesn't have a higher rating. Great food and drinks served quick at an awesome price. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, even leading up to closing time. Never been disappointed.
Really good Asian tapas style eats; a little heavy on the sauces in some plates. Definitely need to come try to the craft cocktails - you'll find ingredients like chrysanthemum tea infused gin and house made ghost pepper bitters.
Awesome Asian-American Amalgamation. The food here is eclectic and delicious. I love their beef ramen noodles with skirt steak. The bar is also great if you're not hungry or just want a quick bite. Good micro brew beer selection and a fully stocked bar.
We love Kapow Noodle Bar! Fantastic food, extensive beer selection and the best tasting cocktails I have ever tried. They have the Best Happy Hour in Boca Raton! Located in Mizner Park, great crowd and a lot of fun!
Stopped by during happy hour to try their $3 bar bites . . . so delicious. My friends and I had the tempura asparagus served with a habanero cucumber cream, shishitou peppers (crab and cheese stuffing, panko breaking, sweet and sour sauce), and the charred edamame. You can tell how fresh the vegetables are and the care onto making the food. Atmosphere was casual. And staff were super friendly. They take common food items, then reinterpret it in a trendy, Asian-esk way. I'll be back!
This place is great. Attentive service, a beautiful interior, and the food was awesome. Not super impressed with their duck confit, but everything else I tried was stellar. Save room for dessert, it's amazing.
Kapow'ed My Socks Off. Went there for drinks the other day and had a great overall experience. The Happy Hour is great; everything is 1/2 off and they have a special $3 "Bar Bites" menu. The PBR's were a buck. Yep, $1. We ordered the shishito peppers, ribs and their Korean Sliders which were a BIG surprise. They were juicy and full of flavor. It comes with some kind of spicy kimchee slaw. I opted to try a couple of their cocktails from their list. I had the Spicy Lover. The only bummer was that it wasn't part of their happy hour dealio.
We'll definitely be back. The decor is really funky and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Highly recommended!!. I went here with some old friends last night and was really excited to find this new local gem. This place is hip. The interior design merges vintage, industrial, and Asian influences. There's a very cool mural on the wall. Indoor and outdoor seating. It shares a patio with the Dubliner (another great place). The service was excellent. Staff at the restaurant were polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. The restaurant has a full bar; serving mixed drinks, craft beer, and wine. While I'm normally a beer guy and appreciated the restaurant's craft beer selection (I almost got the double IPA), I wanted to try the drink selection. (The restaurateurs behind Kapow! have a reputation for creating great dink menus.) Under the recommendation of the waitress, I opted for "The Spicy Lover" which was excellent. And spicy is the right word choice as it has kick, but a nice sweet side to offset it. The food was really good. I got the pulled pork steam patties and Beef Yukke. Both were delicious. The portions at Kapow are nice. They don't stuff you but are filling and they're priced so you can try several menu items in a single sitting.
I highly recommend Kapow! to anyone looking for a high quality dining experience in a casual atmosphere. The restaurant is a lot of fun. I look forward to going back.
