Perfect spot to grab a bite and coffee on my brief work breaks. I’m not a fan of Starbucks (neither the bitter espresso beans or the environment)- R1 fills the void with modern open decor and casual group seating. With the corporate robotics out of the way, there are real people making food and drinks here. My drink is a tiny bit different each time, And I like it that way. They also have a rewards program - definitely sign up!
Pricey but absolutely delicious food and coffee! I got a mocha latte and an avocado smash with salmon. The food tasted so fresh, and my to-go box was even compostable! The space is bright, clean and modern. I love going to independent coffee shops and this one is easily on the A list. The staff was friendly as well. :)

Really quite spectacular nitro and chocolate filled croissant! Nice, comfortable atmosphere that I’d definitely go back to when I’m in town. I had a very nice time.
Great place to go for specialty coffee ☕️ and a light breakfast, lunch or brunch. I have fun trying a different coffee and brewing style each time I go there. For food, I highly recommend their Avocado Toast 🥑🍞 or their spin on a Parfait ~ their yogurt bowl has grains, pumpkin seeds, honey 🍯 and berries. R1 has a really neat ambiance, I like to go there for a quiet breakfast on weekend mornings. People bring their laptops 💻 and study or work remote.
I love this little place but I like great quality. This place is set up for people who like specialty teas, great coffee and a beautiful bright place to enjoy it. I’m working my way through the tea menu. I’ve diverted business meetings to have them here because it’s so civilized. We all feel comfortable here.
I think it reminds me of cafes outside the country. I know it behaves like them. The staff doesn’t pester, but when I ask they make suggestions and encourage trying specialties of the house. I recommend R1 to anyone looking for an improvement on ordinary.

Ordered the cortado. Best I've had in South Florida. Prepared well (no grounds on the bottom), perfect milk pour and ratio.
Would have enjoyed a bolder espresso blend, but that's just my personal taste. I'd suggest having 2 espresso choices in house for more variety If it's in the budget.
