Mariposa Tea Room

My mother took me to Mariposa at Neiman's in Boca Raton, Town Center Mall in Florida twice with one of her friend's that she meets there weekly as a special treat. It was a nicely decorated and inviting atmosphere. (Not too noisy like most lunch places where everyone seems to be talking loud over one another!) All the guests were speaking in lower voices instinctively in response to the elevated atmosphere and respect for other diners.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive my broth and scone almost immediately as a 1st course after ordering. Then they brought out popovers with freshly made strawberry butter that were to die for!
Soon our orders for 2 Mandarin Orange Soufflé and my Crab Salad Stack arrived. My crab, with fresh avocados, tomatoes, mango etc., was so scumptuos and perfect for a hot Florida
day. I had a taste of the Mandarin Orange Souffle and it too was delightful!
Honestly - it was the best lunch I think I've had in ages. I was visiting from the Atlanta area where there are endless numbers of great lunch spots of all varieties and boutique- like venues with nationally known famous chefs.
As a matter of fact, we are having a special birthday luncheon
for my mother in October and she pick@ed Mariposa's Private Event room for her milestone birthday! She is so excited and I'm flying back down next week to work on arrangements while I'm there.
Obviously, I highly recommend Mariposa in Boca Raton and credit Tommaso Frenquelluci, the manager for managing all aspects of Mariposa and maintaining such high standards!

Lunch at Neiman's. Always a wonderful lunch at Mariposa. Great service and lovely lunches and a delightful meeting place. Have been going there for several years.

We were at the Town Center Mall, so we had to go to Mariposa , inside Nieman Marcus very posh . It’s on the second floor. They have floor to ceiling windows We were seating immediately, with the menu’s .We got water right away. Then ‘h deceiver on the Turkey Club wheat wrap , avocado, gruyere cheese lettuce and tomato, ranch, Again a small rabbit head of fruit couple of berries and french fries a little too salty for us presentation was great.

We hosted out baby shower here pre-pandemic. The entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. They handled our party with the utmost professionalism and were so kind and accomodating. We recieved such amazing feedback from our guests as well. The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and it made for such a special day for myself, my husband and our families. 10 out of 10 recomend!

Delicious as always. Love the menu, not too many items to choose from but a very good selection. Coupled with great service. You can't go wrong. It can get a little loud (acoustics aren't that great) but all in all, Mariposa is superb. See you next time!
