Well my first experience was a good one. Went around 130ish on a Friday when it wasn't to busy, so I was able to meet up close and personal the glue that holds this amazing spot together. Zach, his father Mike and Judy I think her name was. Great people. Super friendly. The personal 8 inch pizza I ordered was great. The pepperoni, prosciutto, and sun-dried tomatoes were all super fresh and wonderful. The sauce and dough was excellent as well. Perfect size for one person. To top it off the creme brulee was phenomenal by the pastry chief. That's my go to dessert and it definitely was some of the best I've experienced. I will for sure be returning to this new joint this month. A must try!!
Love, love their pizza, music, and drinks. Perfect place for the entire family. Their outdoor patio is perfect to bring the kids and let them enjoy themselves!!!
This was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The bbq chicken was just phenomenal, it is not your typical wood fired pizza where you get burnt crust. I went their twice and each time was consistent and very good. Anytime I am in the area coming from Houston I’ll be sure I stop by for this amazing pizza. I will also let all of my friends and family know of love the great pizza so they can try it themselves. Not only was the pizza good, but the customer service was top notch and every member of the crew was friendly and you can tell they are genuine good people. Pizza was so good I had to get some to go for the ride back home
Pizza was amazing!! From the crust, to the flavor combinations, be far the best pizza I’ve had since moving to San Antonio. Our waitress was polite, always made sure we had our waters filled, and empathetic when we had a little disagreement with the bartender. I understand that in Kendall county it is a recommendation, not mandatory, to wear mask but having somebody mask less talking while serving beer in a moment of a global pandemic puts people’s health at risk. Thankfully after expressing our concerns our waitress discarded them and served fresh ones herself.
We just relocated to Bulverde and stopped at Z’s in our first day as official Hill Country residents. We ordered a Juliana and It was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had! Simple yet incredibly tasty. We will definitely be returning to sample more pies and plan to bring our sons when the visit so they can order from the large craft beer selection.
Looks small on the outside but good space on the inside, wonderful music and overall atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and open to talk about surrounding areas to visit. The food was amazing, had a half Fungi with half Davinci, it puts other wood fired pizza places to shame. Definitely bringing my friend here soon for the live music they have on Fridays
Everything you could want - local, small business, fantastic pizza and craft beers, hip outdoor patio, and dog friendly. This place was the highlight of our afternoon. We highly recommend the Aloha pizza! Thanks Paul for the excellent service and road trip recommendations!
Z's is the best place in Boerne for pizza! I've been to all the pizza places in the area and Z's is the best by far. The restaurant has a very nice vibe and the staff is great. You might have to wait for a table but I'm telling you the pizza is worth the wait. Or just get it to go but you have to give it a try. Hope to see you there 👍
Stopped in here with my sister. We both had the club sandwich and we both loved it! The toasted bread was perfect, crusty all over the outside. Freshly made and delicious. Our waitress Kelly did a fabulous job as well. I highly recommend Z's Wood Fired Pizza.
We had the most amazing experience at Z's Wood Fired Pizza. Not only was the food and Pizza out of this world but, Paul our server was by far the best server we've ever had. He was upbeat, hilarious, and took the time to explain the beer and pizza options tailored best to our liking. I have nothing bad to say about the pizza and atmosphere that made us feel like family.
