Outstanding flavors.
I ordered the General Tso and it did not disappoint, very flavorful & not over cooked.
I got the add on soup & egg roll.
Soup (won-ton) was fresh & hot.
The egg roll was one of the best I've had in a good while.
While I was eating I watch the staff hand making items for tomorrow... in other words, not frozen.
My server was friendly & funny.
Great experience & traveling it was a great relief.
When I come back through would definitely eat again.
Trying to review with the good points first. The staff was nice (in spite of a significant language barrier, communication issue). The food stayed hot for a good 35 minute drive. The vegetables were cooked well. The 5-spice shrimp (soggy by the time I got home-not their fault...obviously) still tasted really good. The negatives. I've never been to a Chinese restaurant where I couldn't customize my order. I was unable to get what I normally enjoy because they couldn't figure out how to make that work and it wasn't on the menu. I've never known hunan shrimp to only come with water chestnuts or chicken and broccoli to come in a white sauce. I wouldn't not eat there again but perhaps get more clarity on menu items.
This place is my new favorite! My hubby and I both had orange chicken and it's delicious!!! The hubs is super picky with his Chinese food and absolutely loves the orange chicken. We've been twice but my brother in law goes for lunch weekly. The service is fast, even when they're busy. We will be back!!!
This was my first time trying this place and when I picked it up it was ready to go and when I got home 20 minutes later it was still very hot, I was impressed. Everything tasted great. My only complaint is that they forgot my fried rice that comes with the beef with broccoli. Very good, will definitely come again.
It had been several years since my last visit here. I quit working in the area and had not been back since.
Excellent Sesame Chicken, good sized portions. Battery was crispy and had lots of flavor. Food came out almost too hot to eat, straight from the kitchen.
Lunch special was cheap, and included crab rangoons or egg roll, and soup.
Service was fast, waiters and waitresses both came by to refill drinks multiple times. Wait staff worked all tables, not just specific ones.
Lunch menu had a large selection of items. Also offered is an early dinner special, which ia the same as lunch but between 4:30 and 6.
I'll definitely return for the sesame chicken, and to try some more of the items. Excellent service and food.
Friendly staff, good food. Wish they had a better location, but Boerne retail real estate ain't cheap.
