We decided to visit on our last day, simply because it was close to our apartment. It was one of the best decisions while staying in Boston.
Sophia was a very friendly and welcoming host, and I really appreciated her recommendations.
You absolutely have to try their buttermilk biscuits. We call them scones in the UK, and those are superb by any UK standard. They can serve them with afternoon tea for all I care.
We then tried their pork and brisket combo. Both were absolutely fantastic, and with the sides, the portion was big enough for the two of us.
If you still have some space left, have a dessert to share. We tried the pudding, which is served in a jar, like everything else. Adds to the atmosphere.
So much food!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Sweet Cheeks.
We enjoyed a bucket of biscuits, pork belly, sliced brisket, chopped brisket, and pulled pork.
The sliced brisket was especially moist, tender, and flavorful. Kuddos to the staff.
Have to admit, I didn't expect a great Bbq place in Boston at all. Am so glad we had lunch there.
Kudos again to the staff!
Good food but at a bit of a cost. We enjoyed the wing rub & BBQ sauces. Burnt ends mixed into the chopped beef were delicious. Baked beans are a bit spicy, had some pretty large chunks of pork belly mixed in which was a surprise. The side salad was also tasty. Overall definitely recommend coming here. It’s a great spot to grab some quality food before a game at Fenway!
